  1. I thought Sylvia was really good. Made a couple of shocking mistakes. but was a good target when up forward. seemed to really want the ball today. I cringed everytime Jamar got the ball early, his disposal is simply terrible. always going for that quick handpass out the back is getting totally predictable. To his credit he bounced back in the third and forth and took some really good strong grabs up front. Can someone tell me why we gave away so many free's at the centre bounce?
  2. I see your point Nudge. Play him one on one in the goal square and his take off speed will let him beat his opponenant to the ball. Its a good thing in theory, but if that plan actually worked we would be able to do it with Davey to much better effect. He isn't big enough yet.
  3. Frawley has put on 8kg since coming to the club. And will gain a lot more by the start of next year. How long did it take Warnock to make it to this level? Cant believe some people on here are asking for him to be traded around. What do you think we would get for him at the moment? I would say a late 2nd rounder at best.
  4. think he was saying crap, as in, you just jinxed him.
  5. The Fixture is bad at the moment, but at the end of the year it will be the same as any normal year. This year we will play 7 teams twice and the rest once. just like the old fixture. If we have played all the tough teams twice already, then we will have an easier run home. Carlton haven't played the tough teams twice, so its more likely they will have a harder run home. The fixture will never be perfectly even until we play all teams twice. which I personally cant see happening with 16 teams in the comp. The biggest injustice we should be looking at has been stated by calabreseboy. Collingwood get the blockbusters and the friday night games because they get the biggest crowds. As a result they get the most exposure and recruit fans alot easier than we do because we get little media exposure. The big clubs get bigger and the small clubs get smaller. I wonder why we have the smallest Aus Kick recruitment? is it because we ALWAYS play on a sunday when kids are off playing sports and doing things with there familys?
  6. Once again i agree with you Rhino. I was sad when we traded him for pick 14. was my fave player and loved watching him play. But was happy when we picked up Grimes. Good decission in the end. Ive been a fan of Cj. Had that awesome pre-season a couple of years ago. But failed to deliver. I dont think he is cut out to be a midfielder for a long time, but in my eyes we need a good running hbf. Hopefully he can back up his great game last week.
  7. Completley agree with everything you have said in this topic Rhino. Has shown nothing this year, shouldn't get a game. Give him a coulple in next years pre-season matches. People have to realise that he has been injured alot at Adeliade. Our Ruck future will be decided at trading/drafting time this year. Personally im much more interested in the development of Spencer. Anyone have any info?
  8. I haven't seen any of them. Doesnt Rich have question marks over his speed? My choice will have to wait untill the carnival and the big decider - Robbie Warnock. If we get him, i would pick Watts/Rich. All depends where we finish too.
  9. Gold FitZ! complete Gold! you should make that your avatar!
  10. I actually like the look of Mundy, correct me if im wrong but he plays like Rivers? The Freo supporters like him alot. He wants to leave apparently, might be able to pick him up in the PSD?
  11. Trade Garland and Warnock? I hope your joking. To start with there trade value wouldn't be nearly the same as there value in our team.
  12. Number 3 draft picks. 2000 - Alan Didak 2001 - Chris Judd 2002 - Jared Brennan 2003 - Colin Sylvia 2004 - Ryan Griffen 2005 - Xavier Ellis Certainly wasn't the best draft to have Number 3. Has been injured alot though, and is showing signs of coming good. If you look at the rest of the 2003 draft i think we picked very well though. 2003 Draft 1 - Adam Cooney 2- Andrew Walker 3 - Colin Sylvia 4 - Farren Ray 5 - Brock Mclean 6 - Kepler Bradley 7 - Kane Tenace 8 - Raph Clarke 9 - David Trotter 10 - Ryley Dunn No real KPP in the top ten.
  13. poor taste redandblue.
  14. Might not be popular, but i would really like to see Bode get a couple more games to see what he has got. I really hate how some players get one week in and then next week back at sandy. I hope Carrol doesn't get in. He has never been able to stop Bradshaw in the past.
  15. Moloney and Robertson are both on the LTI list now. Dont think there will be a problem with Aussie. Good to see Jack is ready. hope the poor bugger can stay injury free till the end of the year.
  16. 2 years ago we thought he would get better, and offered a new deal. IMO he has got better in the ruck duels but has shown absolutley nothing around the ground. Im predicting that If Warnock comes over then he will be gone. Im pumped to get Robbie. I really hate counting chickens and all that. Ill be upset if he decides to stay.
  17. good lord dazzledavey! i hate to know what would happen to Bailey when we actually start winning games!
  18. Whites age makes his trade value almost nothing. The Saints traded pick 90 for Steven King and Charlie Gardiner. White should, and probably will, step down at the end of the year. I think we could get a third round pick for Jamar. If we get R.Warnock we would be very foolish not to either include Jamar in the deal or trade him afterwards.
  19. At least they make some noise. our supporters are the quietest.
  20. We would have to give up too much for him. IMO he will never be as dynamic as Aaron.
  21. I belive that we would get a late first round pick (10-16) for Green. A good solid midfielder who can go forward. is in his prime now. and has a number of good years ahead. I reakon Collingwood, Bulldogs, Carlton and Maybe Sydney would all be keen. We have already heard rumours about Ratten asking him not to re-sign till the end of the year. and i reakon the Bulldogs would have a very long hard think if we asked for their first rounder. No one will touch Bell. average half back flanker. I thought he had a great season last year and might be able to regain that form again.
  22. i agree with yze magic to a degree. just a few weeks ago there was a topic on juice and a lot of people were writing him off. I think they are in for a big surprise. People seem to forget that when he was brought into the team late last year he did very well. He's about to step up.
  23. how much time left? Score update please
  24. richo just got his 5th. now we have to pay out that 10 year contract.
  25. You want to sack a new coach half way through his first year, with a developing list. Be realistic. If we sack him we get a new coach, new game plan that takes weeks for the boys to get used to. Not to mention that the media [censored] storm that would take place would kill our club off.
