Did richmond really just give up their 2nd round pick for Hampson? That is poor trading. Injury prone. Can't kick. Goes missing when the pressure is on. Sure he is just a back up ruck. But 2nd round pick for a backup ruck? Jesus. Hope we don't do anything as stupid as that.

I agree. With such a large number of players wanting out, Leppitsch will be desperate to hold onto every player he can. Rocky is contracted. There would have to be a lot of work to convince them to let him go. Even for pick 2. Still holding out hope on this rumour that he is ours though. I get the impression that we may have rumours about a heap of players and may be a bit dissapointed when none of them eventuate.

The thing is..... Demonland is a community. An online community, but a community non the less. If someone in my workplace or group of friends acts like a fool or spouts rubbish to big note themselves, I will pull them up on it. I will not give them any respect. If you find yourself the target of multiple users disrespect, maybe ask your self what you are doing/done to earn this disrespect. The great thing with an online community is that you can simply delete your account or change your name. Or even better, stop being a tool.

From memory, he didnt earn a percentage from Abletts deal to Gold Coast. He got a set price. He would have got the same amount if Ablett had stayed at Geelong. Maybe he is just a great manager?

Rubbish. Most people loved it. If one person dared say anything slightly negative he would crack the sads and said everyone was ungrateful. When it wasn't the case at all.

I was over seas about 5 years ago doing a cruise around Croatia. One of the other guys on the cruise worked for the AFL in the marketing department. He was great value and loved talking footy, I mentioned that I was from Tasmanina and how a lot of Tasmanians dislike giving so much money to Hawthorn for football matters when the state was struggiling so much. And your customer thinks the player is Spencer? Or are you just assuming that part? I don't think GWS would have too much trouble picking up a ruck equal to Spencer in another way. Eg. Third round pick for Hampson

Brad knows his stuff regarding fitness. Was always pushing himself when training. Great to have him as a development coach. I dont think people on here know what a development coach is, otherwise they surely couldn't be bagging the appointment. Or maybe they are just pea brains.

I usually get right into the draft. It's been one of the things that keeps me going in crappy years. I'm finding it very hard to get into now that we have appointed Roo's. Its hard to know who to look at when your not sure if you are going to have first and second round picks. I guess it will be a lot more exciting when the trading period is over.

Do other clubs have this academy zoning rubbish? Seem's completly unfair on the rest of the comp. Basically guarentees Sydeny the best NSW talent each year. Or am I getting it mixed up somehow? Surely it would be just a smidgen fairer if they had the same rules as father/son.

They would be very foolish to get rid of him. They risk going backwards while there window is still open by changing coaches now.

I would take either. But its Taylor Adams for me. He is not far off being as good as Martin. He would be cheaper salary cap wise. Would cost us less at the trade table. Not as much baggage.
