Or maybe pick 2 or 3, Red

Isaac Smith
Started a bit later than most. He was drafted at 22 years old, I believe. Think he may have another 1 maybe 2 decent years left. I'd be for it at the right price. Think Clarko would want more than we should offer.

Eddie Betts
It absolutely does in this case. I think his career is likely done, or should be. I'll agree to disagree

GWS will need points for Toby Green's bro.- Tex Walker
- Sink or Swim and an apology
Me too. I've mentioned a couple of times that Oliver and Gawn are just about the only 'must keeps'. We have lots of contested ball winners, but no one of quality that can run, spread and deliver well. If we lost Gus and got Hill, it would improve us. Doesn't mean one is necessarily better than the other, rather that Hill is what we need more than Gus. I didn't want Isaac Smith a few months ago because of his age. However, I've come around to realising his speed and line breaking would help us no end. Leadership and experience too, which we'll lose with Lewis retiring .- Tex Walker

That's a cricket scorecard under your post @Drunkn167! I've enjoyed reading about the journey you and your brother have had at MFC. Felt like weve shared it with you. You have opened up and been very generous with your time and energy. Much appreciated. All the best.- What to do with Nathan Jones

Thought I read somewhere he also has a wine business???- WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ED LANGDON
And we're waiting for you to post something that isn't based upon pot shots at others.- Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
Gotcha. I read your post wrong. Btw, no love for Oliver?- WELCOME TO DEMONLAND - ADAM TOMLINSON

Can kick it well. Im for it if he passes the medical and any other DD, and at the right price.- Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
It would definitely take more than Gus to get Hill and Langdon. IMO pick 20 would probably be included- Angus Brayshaw to Fremantle Rumours
Sure, I get what you are saying. However, I think we have a number of good players who best play on the inside. I put Gus in that category, as well as Viney, Oliver and Harmes. Next year Trac should get more midfield time. And we have Swallow coming up too. We need outside runners, we have none of any real quality. If we trade Gus + 20 and get Hill and Langdon, I think both parties would be happy. Perhaps some later pick swaps as well to even up trade points value, as I rate Hill above Gus at the moment. Then there's what we might do with pick 2 (or 3). King from GCS? Or Anderson or Hayden Young in the draft. Or split the pick? Interesting dilemma. Don't get me wrong, I'd love to keep Gus in the red and blue. But greater than that, I want a better, more balanced list that can return us back into finals and beyond. Having 5 inside mids and sfa outside players will not do this.- The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Fess up, which 'Land poster is Josh Elliot? Sounds like a carbon copy of the talk here- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Yes, but he's also the multicultural 'ambassador' for the AFL, he'd get heaps of other marketing work and he gets extra payments for finals games (which one would think GWS will play more than Carlton). I'm all for him staying, particularly screwing over Blues and Hawks, but let's not be naive enough to think for a moment he won't make the same coin overall in the next 7 years. How about the AFL disclose all player payments outside of their club contract? Or is that too transparent to expect?....- The No T$ No B$ Thread

9 contested marks in last round. Can mark it. Can't kick it. Is he a better forward option than Preuss with a tank?- Kamdyn McIntosh
