  1. It smells bad doesn't it..... Especially with Rocky and Handley out you think they'd keep him in
  2. The lure is apparently playing in a big footy market (i.e. Victoria) and that is what he wanted to do pre-draft and by the sounds of it still does.
  3. Saw him last week / 2 weeks ago and was walking normally. We would get a packet of chips for him which is why I think we shouldnt/wont trade. There is too much upside to him to let him go for a late 2nd round / 3rd round pick. I'd like to think that he and Petracca will be back on the track for a big pre-season and put pressure on the 22.
  4. Robbo tonight on SEN said take it to the bank Aish isn't at Brisbane next year and he said don't count on it being an Adelaide club. Stopped himself from saying Mel... a couple of times (but could have just been referring to the city. Read over some of the early posts and early articles re: Aish and he was aways very open playing for the dees. Bold prediction for the year - we will get James Aish (not scooter or dangerfield).
  5. Cant remember if it has been mentioned by Yarren signed a contract extension last year till the end of 2016. Happy for him to break it though. Love the talk of Aish though. If he's keen to come to Victoria there is always a home at Melbourne
  6. This week Tom McDonald, Jack Watts, Mark Jamar and Jack Viney made the AFL team of the week. I cannot remember the last time we had one entry let alone 4 of them. Great that Viney was recognised for the work on Ablett. Wines and Trelor also made it - it is worth looking at their photos. Seems like they were taken in the under 12's.... Here is to many more!
  7. Didnt see him in the final teams... anyone head along to the game?
  8. Watched the game again - we want to win games and we are a better team with those 2 in. Looking forward to the surprise drop - is it Kent? jKh? Frost? They all were great this week - and I have no idea!
  9. Heeney in front so far this week. Melboune possibilities this year: Brayshaw, stretch, Hogan, McDonald, hunt, Neal-bullen, white, Harmes, King,
  10. 6 - Tommy Mac - could this be the year 5 - Watts - see above 4 - Viney - great job on Ablett (but gee he is good) 3 - Jones 2 - Garlett - the spark we need 1 - 9 tackle Brayshaw
  11. It's a strong ad. Its not targeted at us. It's targetted at the families who are moving to Melbourne and haven't got an afl background. If you love Melbourne you'll love the demons sort of thing. Hand of Howcroft?
  12. Remember that Martin ended up down back for us. Didnt look too out of his depth and then moved to Brisbane and development continued and.........
  13. On this, Brayshaw is getting game time at Casey at the moment through the middle. Billings - half forward, pinch hit through midfield Bont - half forward, pinch hit through midfield Aish - Honestly cant remember Kolo - half back, pinch hit through midfield McDonald - half back, pinch hit through midfield. It's just the nature of Brayshaw's position that it is better to get some full games in and build that tank. In saying this, I think he should be playing round 1, rotating off half forward to mid (maybe straight swap with Viney) - could be why he is having goal kicking comps....
  14. Good Watt's goal to shut up the bloke behind me Jeffy showing a lot of danger up forward The way McDonald more often than not controlled the backline Salem's development Bad Max Gawn had a quarter to forget Not having a closer check on Zaha, Goddard and Chappy Kicks inside 50's - can someone tell me if our forwards aren't leading right or if our kicking into 50 become exponentially more shocking Ugly What we are going to cop as supporters. Toumpas debate - He was a lock as a top 3 pick all year. Stood out at the carnival (until his foot) and was great in the SANFL. He showed much more than Wines or McCrae during that year and bar Whitfield, he was the standout mid. He hasn't come along yet but its only early. There are still a lot of years in his legs, but I wish he had better closing speed and for a good kick - he has some shockers at time. If it is Casey - its Casey this year, but I don't think we should give up on him yet. Worst case, he plays 100 games for us and we get him breeding.
  15. The thing I liked about Salem and Toump today was the tackles. Both made quite a few and put pressure on their opponent. That keeps them in the team and their kicking makes us a better team. Toump needs time - this should surprise anyone.
  16. Hi All, if you are playing fantasy as well there are some spots available in 6NN7KKUT
  17. Thanks for the reports guys. Looking at the midfield ratings you've both talked about McKenzie, a nuggety midfielder who plays his role. I was wondering where you see our new brigade (Brayshaw, Petracca, Stretch, and to a lesser extent Salem, Toump, & Viney) compared to where he is at pre-season? Thanks,
  18. Just opened another fantasy league - 6NN7KKUT
  19. Crows Big Footy forum members are all agreeing that Danger is gone - At least we were 70 - 30 about Frawley
  20. That was the first thing that I thought when I saw the headline. Sloan and Danger were co-captains in Van Berlows absence last year. Tells me Walsh isnt sure he's keeping the boys around past 2015. And roll out the cheque book.
  21. I've been watching replays of the championships and watching his highlights more and more. I really think we have something special here. I don't think he'll be a Selwood or a Dangerfield but I see him playing 200 odd games.
  22. Both his kicking and Mitch's was quite strong. Theme emerging? ?
  23. I just laughed the whole time. These boys are just so happy to be at the demons
  24. Yes yes yes yes yes!!
  25. Yay but so sad. I really wanted Oscar.
