  5. 7.4.46 a piece at half time. Goals 2 Best 2 Fisher 1 Panoza 1 Harmes 1 ????
  6. Harmes head over the ball free in forward 50. Kicks the goal.
  7. Riley 10 disp 3 tackles Terlich 8 & 1 Clisby 6 & 2 JKH 6 & 1 McKenzie 6 & 1 Toumpas 6 & 1 Blease 4
  8. Welsh - we need to be cleaner, we need to go the easy option than the hard option, we need to be harder, Improvement: composure, work hard to keep possession, keep it inside 50 with our pressure, give our forwards more of a chance.
  9. Tappy's out for the day with his back.
  10. Best crummed first goal from a Barry inside 50. Having trouble with our last kick inside 50.
  11. Kenedy-Harris hobbling off (ankle) in the hands of trainers and Tappy (concussion? back?) in the hands of trainers as well. Update when I hear.
  12. From what I am hearing our kicking skills are still woeful but a lot of turn-overs are coming from the Casey players rather than the Demons. Blease has done a couple of nice things, King seems to be the main target (although not clunking any), Tappy just hit the post. I've heard Toumpas and Terlich quite a bit so far.
  13. How long has Casey radio existed? I feel I've been missing out all year.
  14. 6 - N.Jones (Just works so hard) 5 - B.Vince (Some good run) 4 - D.Tyson (Needs to keep moving, but a good user) 3 - D.Cross (Kept Pridis quiet and subsequently kept me alive in DT) 2 - V.Michie (Thought he has a very solid game) 1 - J. Fitzpatrick (Right positions - needs to mark though)
  15. What was that attitude Frawley.
  16. I don't think it's laughable - there is no reason we can't do it. We just need to show the pressure we had in the middle of the season.
  17. Late season specialist this Fitzpatrick
  18. 6. Maxy Gawn - Maybe we can see Fitzy and him together before the end of the year 5. Howe - Great down back and felt really comfortable with him down there 4. Tyson - Really love the way he goes about it 3. N Jones - Really hard at it all day. 2. Frawley - Yes he is frustrating but 7 tackles 6 marks 1. Riley - such an impact coming on Sorry Jetta.
  19. Surprised they just haven't called it the season. I know 4 weeks isn't 7 but still!
  20. I love the thinking with Danger and just makes sense for both parties. Very American approach to a sign and trade - get him somewhere else so you don't have to deal with the fallout. We offer him a long, big contract and offer the Crows the world. Waite and Lycett I'd make a play for in terms of alls. We've been told we want another ruck man and I can't see why we wouldn't take Waite for a small contract to help the forward line (waiting for Tex next year of course). However, I have always liked Cameron Conlon... Tommy Mitchell is our best chance from the Swans for our second round.
  21. I've watched the championships, following the boys, and am looking forward to seeing Billy in the red and the blue next year. My honest opinion which is gathered from watching, talking to coaches, and reading forums, it that Billy is a great talent and a top 30 talent in this draft. Unless he has a fantastic bottom half of the year, and I hope he does, he isn't going to go in the first round. That leaves us with Brisbane and St Kilda to bid before our second round. Brisbane will take Dawson as he is a first round talent and teams will bid on him (QLD zone selection). St Kilda - do they need a Billy? I'm not sure. I'd be backing another tall from them or Laverde, Ahern, Lamb or De Goey depending on who drops out of the first round. My pick is that we take him with a third round pick which allows us to trade our second round for an established mid (ala Vince). If I had to make a call if to take him with a second pick, I'd take him in a heartbeat. He has improved out of sight this year. Did not expect this level from him at all. With that level of improvement not being in an AFL club, I'm willing to take the punt.
  22. 6 M Jones 5 T McDonald 4 Viney 3 N Jones 2 Vince 1 D Kent
  23. Gee the more I think about it the more Frawley walking for a first round compo looks good. We do need some extra mids...
  24. The thing that gives me hope is that we can work on scores from turnovers and when we bring that down, we will be very hard to beat. (glass very half full here)
