  1. Great to see that smug show pony Ginnivan, and self professed wizard didn’t get over the line. Now for Adelaide to beat Pies and Brisbane to beat Cats 🤞
  2. Thanks guys for another year of analysing our heartbreaks (GW$, PIES x2, DOGS etc) and some days of shame (North, StKilda, Essendon, Visybags in particular). Presuming we will have a season review so here is not the time to discuss delisting and recruiting, so I will stick to this game that we really should have won. Others have also alluded to our inability to defend a lead let alone go in for the kill as we did so often in 2021 and early 2022. Surely it is more than poor physical fitness. Seems like a now ingrained lack of self belief. I am so grateful that this didn’t pertain when we were 17 points down mid Q3 in the GF 2021 - why has this turned? On field leadership? Lack of fire from the coaching staff? Stale messaging? Langford has been an amazing pick up - IMO as good as Clarry’s debut season and seems to have superior skills and presence of mind already. Great to see Clarry getting back towards his best. He seems to be in a good mindset and I hope he can carry this into 2026 FOR MFC! I can’t bear to lose and particularly to Collingwood but there were definite signs of hope for next year. Tweak a few things like goalkicking and disposal options and who knows? I can’t wait for your end of season review. So much to talk about especially with fading veterans who were vital in 2021.
  3. What genius at HQ decided that it was a Saturday night blockbuster WCE v SS? I doubt the TV sponsors would be too happy.
  4. Maybe he is going the other way ⬇️? hopefully not a homophobic comment? could cost you 5 weeks unless you claim a mystery confidential medical condition and or have finals ahead
  5. Winning mentality is a key job for whomever coaches 2026. Maybe a new sports psychologist too - do we have one?
  6. Surely it will depend on what a new coach thinks of him (and many others) and if he / they can be found a new role ?
  7. 6 Langford 5 Max 4 Oliver 3 Frittata 2 Rivers 1 Salem
  8. Thanks for a bit of positivity. I hate losing of course, but our games v finalists Footscray and Colonwood showed glimpses of hope with great ball movement. Now we need to tweak skills Looking forward to a far better 2026 (unless Neeld comes back to coach 😡😮🙄)
  9. How about a clearance and goal?
  10. Bad luck Culley. You have been a great find.
  11. Caicos just assumed that the whistle meant a free for him. 🤗🤗🤗
  12. Harvey ❤️💙❤️💙
  13. Great spoil Maysie.
  14. Gutsy by Sparrow But wait for the negatives if we don’t hold them off. Great quarter Dees. Bowey unlucky. How often do we hear maggots saying “tried” if it suits their purpose.
  15. Gutsy by Sparrow Frittata ❤️❤️
  16. Great couple of goals guys. Good to see trying something different.
  17. Well why not follow North or West Coast.
  18. OMG there are just so many negative Nellie’s here tonight. It is clear we are trying a new ball movement style and it won’t work out immediately. We have nothing to lose tonight by trying something different.
  19. Exactly. But pretty boy ump who hates us of course found one for Daicos
  20. Of course all OK for Daicos to decapitate Sparrow though.
  21. It was Daicos, so doesn’t have to be an actual hold.
  22. The obverse of the usual.
  23. Maybe an opportunity under a new coach ??
  24. Can one ruin something mythical, that is talked about but doesn’t actually exist?
