I like it, but would prefer they played off for the wooden 🥄

And not only the Americans, but the great American imitators aka AFL Certainly 6 and above would be delighted.

Remind me - when did Lamb take over? Was he involved with the May Lever Langdon BBB premiership players or was it post 🏆? PS. he is also responsible for re signings.

Sydee - I admit to not having seen him but seem to recall some commentary that he had excellent technique. I stand corrected. -
Welcome to Demonland Matthew Jefferson

Maybe IF he is going to be “gifted a game to give him a taste” it would be better were it the final round …. the harshest critics may have checked out by then and there would be a long time before he was offered another opportunity.. -
Why play May or Salem in 2-3 weeks? Get them ready for preseason.

Part 10: Jason Taylor - Visionary or Over-rated - 2022
monoccular replied to Deespicable's topic in Melbourne Demons
I haven’t seen Sestan in person or on the track. To those who have: is there any way he could, with another full AFL preseason (which would almost be his second I think) become a tough burrowing inside mid, or is small forward the only slot he could fill, if any? -
1/ Are there data on how many under 22s we have used 2024 compared to other sides? It seems as a gut feeling we have more than other sides, and most appear to have a huge upside giving me cause for genuine optimism going forward. Given our terrible run of injuries to many key players pre and during the season, and one suspended indefinitely, put us on the back foot all year, can things get worse? MFCSS kicking in 2/ Is it the clubs or the AFL who set up the post match pressers? How can any credible organization have these things without a roaming microphone 🎤 for the floor? Just unintelligible most of the time. Amateurish tight @sses Thanks again for your enlightening and entertaining weekly podcasts.

Perspective - 14 teams cannot go out in straight sets.

Maybe Port will have exhausted themselves tonight 112 points over top of the ladder Swans 😦😮🙄

Please don't tell me he is on a 2 year contract Recruiting / drafting has been excellent: trading in has been very poor. High impact isn't a description I would use for the 2024 version of Frittata. Hardly makes any impact on opponents at all. Why? We do not owe Hunter anything actually.

I will preface by saying that I wasn't able to get to the game nor to see even one moment of TV. Is it time for some biblical reflection? Matthew 13:49-50 "So it will be at the end of the age; the angels will come forth and take out the wicked from among the righteous, (50) and will throw them into the furnace of fire; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. There will indeed be much weeping and gnashing of teeth but is it really the end of the age?? Will Jason Taylor find some gems once again, and will he and Tim Lamb become angels and take out the under performers from among the list and cast them, in the way of true demons, into the furnace of fire? Clearly we need more talent and leg speed, and hopefully will recruit accordingly. Trading in under performers from other clubs to underperform for us hasn't gone at all well in recent years. We desperately need a clear run of injury from the start (Brayshaw, Petracca, Oliver, Viney, and they were our best mids, Petty and Melksham half the season, Bowey, May, Spargo who essentially missed the whole season then Windsor to ice the cake) and as the season seems shot some who need a "rest" to get ready for preseason should be considered now. If we can start the season with a full list of those who will be able to play most of 2025 we will be in a far better shape. I personally don't see us as bottoming out. Some say play all the kids now - but if they are all thrown in the deep end at once will that really help? Sure the likes of K Brown, Woewoden Howes should get more exposure and maybe even Sestan at some stage, but Jefferson whilst tempting could have his development curtailed unless introduced carefully. Has Laurie had the line put through already despite his contractural status? I feel being dropped after his best game was saying something. Just trying to see some possible positives to save my teeth from terminal gnashing. Amen

Why is the word "wetting" censored? Or was it something else? 🤫

Join the queue behind Chandler and Kolt, and maybe Spargo if he recovers fully. -

Complete trumps quick, unless by some miracle we get to finals without him. Corrected. -

No - they will use Cripps. Immune from prosecution. -
Part 9: Jason Taylor - Visionary or Over-rated - 2021

You say Billings and Fullarton will play 2025 = probably at Casey. Cranky - this is a DRAFT review for 2021, not a critique of our trades 2023. And please pray tell how YOU would have handled Brundy and Jordon differently given the midfield we had in 2022. Thanks I don't think they said anything at all about the "5 or 7 dud trades". I don't expect that many will be happy with the trade outcomes, but as per topic most are very happy with the 2021 DRAFTS. -
Done. Pressure goal by an underrated pressure player

Christian Petracca’s 2024 Season Ending Injuries

coincidence some are done as a day case, especially in the morning. Other than his splenic injury he would (if uncomplicated) be back in a week or three. ✔️ -
It seems that Maysie is already under the knife by some “supporters” here. But a serious question, Little Richard - just what operation, as opposed to R&R, does he need? Certainly NOT a heart ❤️💙 transplant.

I noted this is the announcement today Should we dangle a line as this seems to be a massive weakness in our armamentarium
