Jai clearly has talent and shows strength and versatility and marks well above his height. I am looking forward to him as a midfielder, wing or HF. Work hard Jai - you can play a huge role in us getting where we want.

Just turned the game on. Jeez I hate the umpiring either way. The absurd stand rule - guy in the mark is fixed, but the guy kicking forward is about 30 degrees inboard and not brought around. Hawks trailing nd an off balance 40-50 meter kick goes out - “insufficient intent” FFS! Also hate the camera work - who wants to see the face of the kicker. What the hell is going on down field ? Vociferous dissent is now OK? Bailey Sniff abuses umpire with impunity.

Why should Guerra waste his time explaining to an airhead what he has been told already but couldn’t get it through his thick cranium?? One way to reduce congestion, which has always occurred by the way, would be to have the boundary umpire throw it in from 10 meters inside the boundary - it would certainly reduce repeat throw ins and if applied deep in forward / defence make forcing it out of bounds very unattractive for defenders.
