May to Tribunal
Who runs our appeal (if it happens)? Anyone half competent this time? What an awfully run competition we have. As others have said, many used to watch multiple games a weekend but now watch only Dees games. FFS I used to often go the 2 or 3 MCG games a weekend (MCC member) but cannot stand the corruption and now don’t even follow scores of most games.

May to Tribunal
Nothing mystifying about Magpies Gleeson and Christian screwing us.

TRAINING: Tuesday 22nd July 2025
Is Max Viney still involved in tackling and grappling sessions?

PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
Apart from impeding his performance, it also puts his health at risk. People do drop dead when pushing to extremes with viral infections. Not a smart decision by whomever ultimately made it. As for players saying "I am ok", didn't Brett Mooney say the same in 186?

Can we talk about Kolt?
I have said before. I would rather be the optimist who is sometimes wrong than the pessimist who is always right.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Can anyone seriously think that Michael Christian is NOT biased? Moore assaulted the Docker, lying on the ground, with his full weight via his knees. We have already seen him nearly kill one player, and this, with the opponent fixed on the ground could have been even worse. Yet MC says nothing to see!! I wonder how he would view it if say a Daicos were to suffer a severe injury from a solid knee to the body, like in the Petracca case, or even worse in this week's one? IF the AFL continue to reappoint him they clearly have an agenda.

Welcome to Demonland: Luker Kentfield
Filthy* has made amazing progress given that he has yet to do a full preseason. Like others I am ambivalent about him debuting this year. It would be a great achievement but I would be concerned were he to be told that there were low expectations. Every player every game must go in with high expectations. Would he gain more if he helped Casey into finals and even share in some finals victories? *as in filthy luker PS I am a true believer

TRAINING: Tuesday 22nd July 2025
And don’t forget Kicking in front of a leading player, though I guess that would have to come after the make a lead session. Seriously why should professional players need to be taught this? I remember having a kick with my then 8yo son making him lead before I would kick it in front of him. And I was not a high achiever having just reached VAFA U19 at my peak.

Can we talk about Kolt?
Refreshing. Is this the longest thread we have had on Demonland largely disparaging a second year player who had an incomplete preseason due to injury? 14 pages

TRAINING: Tuesday 22nd July 2025
Hope the press ghouls were not there. Prepare for headlines about deep divisions and disrespect for the captain 🙄

NON-MFC: Round 19
And of course THEIR MRO did see a thing

Umpiring standard
The thing is, Willmoy, that is exactly what does and did happen.

May to Tribunal
A defence by Maginot Line Anderson 😂🙄😩

2025 MRO & Tribunal
You use the words cynical attempt to reverse the mark. I think he just loves to use his knees to hurt opponents, and knew that he had nothing to fear from their tame MRO: he could have caused severe internal injuries, again, with impunity.

Joe Daniher
Sadly a number of those you mention are serial offenders in the poor delivery department.

2025 MRO & Tribunal
Of course, we all know why.

May to Tribunal
The MRO and the tribunal, in fact the entire AFL are a farce - some may even consider corrupt.

POSTGAME: Rd 19 vs Carlton
😮😮😮. Did he assassinate the umpire??
-
Umpiring standard
Is data available re which umpire awards how many frees for and against which team? One tonight stood out - won’t say which one for fears of accusations of sexism.
-
PREGAME: Rd 20 vs St. Kilda
I missed the incident where May is said to be at risk. Anything in it? Ambivalent re Jefferson - showed endeavour and kicked a beautiful set shot. But if Kentfield has a blinder tomorrow he may replace Jeffo.
-
Umpiring standard
One or two may be put down to incompetence; tonight all went one way and together with our ineptitude made the difference. At least 4 goals that they got were from incorrect decisions.
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Tunnelling by Carlton - fee to them, goal. Bloody hell - one could imagine that umpires have some ulterior motive? Some talk about punting during the week - how widespread is it?
-
GAMEDAY: Rd 19 vs Carlton
Was it that, or one umpire saying the man on the mark as ok and the faraway one thought no? Absolutely horribly adjudicated rule.

NON-MFC: Round 19
The rules say there must be DEFINITE evidence to overrule the goal umpire’s call. Maybe just when it “suits the agenda”! No wonder people suggest that the AFL might be corrupt, incompetent, or both.
