  1. I vaguely remember back in the 1980s a full back getting BOG with one disposal holding a star forward goalless. That trivia aside, Jed seemed to do well at Casey and when thrown in the deep end was ok at least.
  2. No doubt Max would be a great mentor for ruck craft, but the Brundy experiment showed that, as great a ruckman and captain that he is, he doesn’t seem prepared to share much ruck time. Jackson was a notable exception due to his unique physical form and his talents. From the clips of the 21 GF sidelines, Max was more than happy to shed some ruck time as the bang, bang, bang unfolded. Perhaps because Jackson was the only co-ruck that he truly respected?? The great man does really need to start helping plan his own succession - maybe Heath is the guy, or Kalani??
  3. I can only think of a handful of good things, when subbed in when opposition fatigued. So he can do stuff, but not enough. How did he perform in the preseason endurance stuff?
  4. That stat is just plain crazy. Must be more than endurance type fitness. How about psychology? Don’t work too well today though. Names please Other than Melksham May Lever Langdon?? 🤗 Mods - we seriously need a tongue in cheek emoji. As well as the thinking one and the facepalm that we had a few years back. Thanks.
  5. You presumably are meaning the Downlow. Huge risk, high reward. And halftime subbing out an uninjured player even ballsier. Did Starswvic see out the game?
  6. Don’t forget another soft draw as well.
  7. Dinner usually called at 5 pm at geriatric home Nothing remotely as good as that. 🔴🔵🔴🔵
  8. So 50 not missed for Geelong but not the one on the ¾ alien against Geelong. And some query if the comps corrupt
  9. See the earlier comment re TAB He could have been a Norm Smith winner with more composure.
  10. And not for the first time with this player. AFL are a disgusting compromised dis organisation.
  11. Really how can HQ script this more Than 17-4 frees !!!
  12. Shameless barracking by the commentators worst of course being BT
  13. He could possibly be uninterested but certainly not disinterested But one thing making me want Brisbane to win is the thought of Bailey Sniff watching the ceremony from the losing side, again.
  14. Frees now 13-3
  15. Picking a NQR Neale as a sub is really odd. Lucky that got away with at least a quarter
  16. Their finishing reminds me of a team dear to our hearts
  17. 8free G to 3 B
  18. Would be great to have someone who can do that for us.
  19. No doubt near the umpires room 🙄
  20. I was about to comment that the umpires were keeping out of it - then bang, bang.
  21. Maybe a Pauline Hansen fan??
  22. All of which is just filling in the finals time in our absence. How about reviewing after we have a coach (3 hours from now) and a list. 🤔
  23. Geelong do it somehow. Maybe there are some hidden market gardens near Linton Street?? Culley, in his limited exposure, has done quite a bit forward, and can grab a decent mark.
  24. Sadly didn’t do enough at Casey to demand promotion. His career will be remembered for one fantastic match saving tackle but little else.
  25. Good luck to him but seriously he does not look like a top 26 player if everyone fit and well. That said he is strong, hard working and hard at it - a handy back up at best. As the late Charlie Kirk would ask - prove me wrong Aidan. I would love to be proven wrong.
