One thing that really p’d me off in his press conference was him harping on about close game scenarios - this was anything but a close game at ¾ time yet he couldn’t didn’t explain why the wheels fell off to make it a close game. I started post match being angry, but that quickly morphed into incredulity- did I see what I saw? It took me back to maybe 1991 v EssenDrug when I recall we lead by a similar margin at ¾ ,then kicked an early goal but got run over. It seriously took me years to trust the team to win from a big lead, and then they put on this over an inconsistent cr@p team!! I cannot trust this team, this club anymore. Deer in the headlights stuff. Shameful. Others have asked my question - is there a sports psychologist at our mess of a club? If not, why not? If so, why is he / she / it not given marching orders, tonight? I believe we have 3 more MCG games. I am so shattered that I don’t think I will be able to attend, or even watch. Today’s capitulation was not physical fitness, it was 99% psychological weak mindedness. Spending some time as a tall defender probably helps forwards understand their role a bit better - one David Neitz starts as a defender (I think he actually was AA).

Who runs our appeal (if it happens)? Anyone half competent this time? What an awfully run competition we have. As others have said, many used to watch multiple games a weekend but now watch only Dees games. FFS I used to often go the 2 or 3 MCG games a weekend (MCC member) but cannot stand the corruption and now don’t even follow scores of most games.

Can anyone seriously think that Michael Christian is NOT biased? Moore assaulted the Docker, lying on the ground, with his full weight via his knees. We have already seen him nearly kill one player, and this, with the opponent fixed on the ground could have been even worse. Yet MC says nothing to see!! I wonder how he would view it if say a Daicos were to suffer a severe injury from a solid knee to the body, like in the Petracca case, or even worse in this week's one? IF the AFL continue to reappoint him they clearly have an agenda.
