DemonWa and RM both Nicholson and Evans have been much better than Strauss and Blease over the Casey Games so far . IMO they both deserve a run at senior level before S and B, trouble is they are Rookies and would need to be elevated.

Billy2803 both Campbell and Mckenzie played half a game in the Casey reserves, I really think we are pushing the envelpoe to expect them to front vs north on saturday. Remember they are both coming back from long term injuries. Both are too good to risk for this week when we still have 15 weeks left. We are realy going to need both for the last dozen games so if that means going short the next two weeks so be it. Gawn played well in the Casey reserves the week before he was average at best, This week in Casey seniors for mine. That leaves us with a combination of Martin ( hope like hell he is fit ) Dunn, and Newton not great but the best of a bad situation. Please not Bennell he has failed on numerous occasions, give Jetta a run ( he was an emergency last sunday ) or upgrade Evans or Nicholson

Just a slight difference in the quality of the opposition C& B one has no losses and looks the only contender to the Pies And the other cannot beat Port!

Every chance I would have thought. being able to start training and being fit enough to play AFL are two different things. I will stick with my prediction of July at the earliest before we see him in the seniors!

RN I think you have only blind faith to support your argument. We have lost two of our best players of the last 2-3 weeks, both helped us dominate the centre clearances last week. Our first replacement Ruckman is out for the season along with the next guy ( Fitzpatrick )for 8 weeks. Martin is under a cloud and Campbell has no fitness and needs to be up graded before he can play. There is no replacement for Trengove who is even half as good. Add the loss of Grimes and we are staring down the barrel. Then the big one! We have not beaten North or anyone at ES since Adam played full back for Jerusalem. If we get within 5 goals of North I will be surprised. However I will be happy for you to point out on Saturday night how wrong I was in my prediction. Car'n the Dees

Well excuse me! If you have to go to that much trouble to get it looking right on TV it suggests to me there is something wrong. Most people won't change their picture that much to watch a game every other week. Essendon's red looks fine as does St. Kilda, Adelaide and Sydney without touching the TV controls, why is ours Pink? In the mean time I get lots of comments about the "[censored] pink dees" Don't know about you but it sticks in my guts.

WYL If you read my comment again I said they looked ok at the game. I watched it last night on my daughters last HD tv and the effect is the same. I do not believe you can adjust it out. Whats with the smart remark about being at the game?

SD I have a bad feeling we are not going to faced with the problem for some time if at all this year, TS looks like a season injury from where I sit. My wife works in the sports / work injury industries. Those contacts say Scully's injury is a vey hard one to fix. only rest will fix it and it is an individual thing as to how long it takes . From day 1 my contacts were saying he may not play this year. So Nathan may not have to face the problem this year

I have not been a fan however over the last two weeks I have started to get some confidence. I am begining to think he might turn into a good player. Not sure I will go with "Star" just yet. I will acknowledge a definite improvement over the last two weeks.

Not sure if it is my old eyes however I agree with those that think our Jumpers look pink. Watched at the game yesterday the jumper looks ok However watched the game on TV later last night and they look to have a pink tinge. Even the photos on the MFC site have a pink tinge IMO. Could be better IMO, it may be that it is the result of TV if so can we have a more orange red That does not come up pink please CS.

Great problem to have I think. I agree with GTW what the MFC needs is tough agressive play. Warnock is one of a very few at the Dees that provides that factor. We will need it on Saturday as North have always scared us out of games. Warnock will go toe to toe with the best of them.

2 reasons why it will never again be a top 6 - That would mean another 3-4 sides that would would have little to no chance of playing finals by the half way mark less interest lower ratings etc. - Less finals games for tv, lower ratings Less money for AFL. More likely to be a top 9 come 2012

No but I will take it. Looks better than our normal position over the last few years. We have beaten the sides in 12 13 and 17th positions. I will take a 90+point win any day however lets not get too carried away. If we are still there after the QB game I will start shooting my mouth off.

Guys what is it with Bennell back in! The guy plays a half decent game for Casey and all of a sudden he is back in. He has shown time and again he fails when the going gets tough. North have always been too scary for us and after their thrashing on the weekend they will be fired up next saturday. Their tactic will be play the Dees hard early and they will fold. It has worked for them for years and they will try it on again. So why put Bennell back in,leave him at Casey for me.

Since the first few games last year I have believed that Trengove is a better kick than Scully. It is one thing to get the ball but another to deliver it well. he seldom misses the target I have a gut feel we are looking at a future B & F winner.
