As usual he played hard and tough at the ball, his oponent kicked a couple so what show me a backman who does not conceed a couple of goals and it was not always his fault.

Guys I have read the article three times and I am not certain what to make of the reference to Tom Scully. Not sure if I am adding 2 + 2 and getting 5 However is it possible that TS has not signed because he does not like the way the Coach / FD work? Might be a factor so Jim has jumped in to fix things? If I were TS and looking at a fat offer from GWS there are two areas to consider - Money - current Club vs GWS. If we do not appear to be operating in a fashion to take us forward then why not switch to a club that looks better in the medium / long term. You get the money and a better chance of success! Good question. Excuse me for being sceptical but if we were traveling well would Mckenzie and Campbell still be "2 weeks" I cannot see Mckenzie playing for at least a couple of weeks. He has no match play for over two months which effectively means a low preseason effort. I will still be surprised if we see him this side of June. And then perhaps as a sub. Campbell is a rookie and won't come in unless there is another long term injury. So the improvement for me is Mckenzie some time in July. However I have been wrong before!

Interesting info into days HUN. last year the top four MFC players for laying Tackles were Mckenzie, Mcdonald ( Jnr. ), Scully and Moloney. 2 of the four have not played a game and won't in the near future. Mcdonald not there any longer and Molony has been doing a good job. I would player J Mcdonald in middle just for his ability to tackle. We are obviously doing very badly in this area. What have we got to lose?

Could not agree more Webber, Martin has had four good games before Thursday He was one of the better ones against the hawks. He had a lot of mates on Thursday. Green and Davey have not played as well as him so far this year!

WJ most of what you say may well be correct However I have a real problem with our game plan. It is either poor or we do not have the talent to implement it. At what point this season are we allowed to voice our distress? Following blindly is what led many fine Germans into WW2. I will continue to support the MFC but I am not going to follow blindly when something is plainly not working.
