C&B i think you are being a bit hard on Morton and Grimes. Agree the last two don't look flash at this point. 12 games time will tell us a lot.

Based on previous form I would think the hardest one is North. They are like Hawthorn i.e. have belted us for years and I see nothing to suggest that will change in 2011.

No doubt we have all seen the report that Fev has now signed with Casey! Plan is play reserves this weekend if he past at training last night. Then possible play seniors in 5 weeks time. So we have another 4 weeks without him getting in the road of our player development. After all the negatives of the last month it seems Casey is determined to get him as a draw card. Are Caseys finances so bad that they have to go this route? i.e. ignore the wishes of the MFC, all the crap of the last month and god knows what in the future just to get extra people through the gate!

Only one thing wrong your interchange three, they are all taller forwards. As much as it greeves me I think the sub might be Jones with Morton at Casey. I would actually have Dunn, Petterd, Jones and Morton the Sub with Watts at Casey. But that will not happen

I have thought long and hard since Sunday. It may just be that Hawthorn are much too good for us in most positions and their poor conversion kept us in it up to half time. Perhaps they still are a 10+ goal better side than Melbourne. Having said that The lions are not as good as us but they have troubled us in the last three games. We only got home by a couple of goals in Brisbane 2010 We only won in China on the siren after being behind all day. They Beat us in the practise match a few weeks ago. Anyone every considered we may not be as good as we think. Perhaps we are still a bottom four side! Sunday will tell.

I think he means the second line rpfc. I get the feeling he would be a great finisher. i.e. In a good/better side where there was not as much pressure on him personally his ability would allow him to flash in and out of the game and be very damaging. He does not have that luxury at the Dees. Does that make any sense?

Perhaps I am just looking for errors but he seems to make clangers at the worst times in games. He dropped a sitter of a mark in the third quarter last week when on the end of a beautiful kick from Davey. One of the few times we looked like clearing the ball from the hawk forward line. Result was a turn over and goal for the hawks. Now don't jump down my neck I know it was one occasion he just seems to play well when the game is open. When it gets tight and congested he goes missing. Not helped of course by having 36 players in one half of the ground.

Could not agree more, the game was well and truely over by the time he got onto the ground. Have not checked the statts but he proberbly had as many touches in the last quarter as Jones had in the first three!

I thought he was one of our best on Sunday admittedly the competition for Melbourne's best was not high. However he was working a long from goal on sunday so not sure we can make much out of that game re his goal kicking ability. I think he has been one of the bright spots for us so far this season. A large number of people on Demonland keep saying "give him a chance young guys take time to develop". Well I think he is developing and am quite prepared to keep him in the team. If we want to put in Juice then find another spot. Martin is earning his spot so far which is more than can be said for a few others.

I will bow to your superior knowledge However he put in a poor one on sunday The team result was terrible and some changes need to be made. Sorry e25 but lets see what he has at Casey this week.

Is that from experience WYL? However I do agree with you it is not a game for the faint hearted. Some players have the ability of imposing themsleves on the game and others don't. We just need a few more imposers

We seem to be at loggerheads at the moment! Champs don't blink only the average ones, Blinked all my young days one of the reasons I became A boundary line expert. It is much safer out here too.
