Any chance this decade WAC? I do not have too many left
-
Who kicks them when he is in? It is our game plan that sees him way up the ground. Bailey needs to leave a couple in the forward 50. Numerous times yesterday we had to go side ways because there was no one in the forward line. It drives me insane ( well more than usual ) Cloke hardly ever gets out of the forward 50.

Sorry AB I just do not see it, all year I have taken particular notice of him. IMO he has had 3 average games the rest have not justified his spot. In the last one and half seasons I have seen what I would call 3 good games and only one of those I would have put him in the top 5. I am serious when I ask what is his major claim to fame? Look forward to your thoughts.

Yesterday was not such a disaster as many are making out

Any day that you get beaten by 80 points by collingwood is a disaster. You can put up all the positives that you like We still got thumped by the bloody pies. -
AJ we had no one who could take a contested mark Yesterday. No stand and deliver forward, we must bring in either Dunn or Bate. We need a mature solid tall forward added for the Freo game.

I agree TU however the win / loss ratio is important. Without a reasonal numbers of wins the fans / members drop off. We simply cannot afford to drop a significant number of members.
-
drdrake I agree with most of what you say, and I will preface my next comment by saying we have a lot of injuries. However I thought the big losses would be behind us but alas we are still getting flogged by the better sides. That part worries me. It maybe because of injury but I do not think we have improved at all on last year. We either have a crap game plan and or a lack of players to implement it. That is my worry.

Well unfortunately rpfc we were both right this week but unfortunately a bigger loss than we both hoped. We have opposite views on No. 7 I keep telling you he is ordinary but you continually cling to him. Time and time again he puts in an average performance against the poorer teams and woeful vesus the good sides. He is not up to it, back to Casey this week please.
-
Not sure when his contract is up but he would be a great buy for the GWS crew. Just what they need, mature bodied guy who can play and never gives up. Hope they are not reading this!

Today one thing screamed at me Too many unexperienced kids with imature heads and bodies. We need Warnock, Garland,Bate, Dunn and Petterd in next week. I doubt Garland will get back as he was ordinary at Casey and I am not sure he is over his injury. Who goes out? Evans, Jetta, Bennell and Jurrah he is not even taking marks now seems stuck on the ground.

Worse to be a backman, it comes at you continously.

You are IMO going to have long 2.5 months ahead of you. I think Tom is as good as his word i.e. no decision till the season is over.
-
Months ago I promised myself I was not going near a Scully thread again. However here I am! Tom scully is a good player however he did not stop Collingwood from winning today. He is one player, who is only an average kick. We will not get to the holy grail with him alone, we need 23 others no matter how good Tom becomes. The MFC will make him a good offer, if he goes to GWS for a much higher pay packet so be it. Lets Forget about TS until the end of the year or until he makes a decision. The MFC is a lot more than Tom Scully. Lets get on with developing a better team with or without Tom Scully.

Sad but true DS When I looked at the team on thursday night I thought we imagined that this team that beat Essendon could match the Pies. We had 5 players from my count with less than 4 games. The backline looked too light to take on the big guys at the pies. Why no Warnock? He is a solid tough defender, I find it hard to believe he would not have done better on Cloke. All our forwards are lead up types Not one "cloke" in sight.
-
I agree, you have my vote.
-
RR among the wreakage of today 2 things were glaring obvious to me. - We needed the big strong body of Warnock on cloke, he took Rivers to the cleaners just too big and strong. - At the other end we needed a Cloke, we have no one who can stand their ground and take a mark. The pies beat us all over the ground. We missed our injured players badly today but even allowing for them the Pies showed us how far we have to go.
-
I agree He had one passage of play. Whatever his postion is it is not in the backline. I will get jumped on however I have been saying it all year. He is not good enough.
-
Do you have to be a murderer to make a comment about murder?
-
I do not care I just want to win. Winners are grinners and others can please themselves
-
Why do you think it was wrong? I was there and he was in everything, 39 seemed about right to me. Easily BOG IMO.
-
I agree I have been suggesting it for 2 years as well DC. he had 1 quarter against the Tigers. Not sure why everyone wants to trade him, Plays ok at senior level and we need back up if Frawley gets injured.
-
I think so too, he is a goer.
-
You are correct I predicted a loss, Do no know about the "adamant " part. Suggests I was ranting we had no hope. Only my feeling rpfc that is what the site is about I thought. I think the opponent is a big step up from Essendon. They fixed up the bombers when Essendon was at full strength and playing well. Even with their losses they look to good for this Dees team. As I said I "hope I am wrong" . I will get no joy at the MCG on monday enduring another Pies victory believe me.

Nothing in the regulations that I know of that says you have to be one eyed! I expect us to give a good account of ourselves but lose by 5 goals. I hope I am wrong but I just do not think with the likely make up of our team this week that we are good enough.
