  1. All will be revealed when our new coach is appointed. Until then this is just the ramblerings of Demon fanatics who like me have no idea what is actualy happening.
  2. I remember a few years ago probably the same people wanted Tmac and Milkshake gone. Yes both are very close to the end but they have held the backline and forwarding together this year. Viney is going nowhere.
  3. With a new coach we probably start from square one in 2026 Mr. Leg which I think will be a positive. From your list we have some potential good players however I struggle that there is anyone on that list who will be very good, Lindsay and Windsor perhaps the others mostly quartz that we hope will turn into a diamond. I like the look of Kentfield but Jefferson will never be more than a VFL player. I have defended Sparrow and Chandler in the past but I have to admit they are probably in the 25 to 30 range on our list. We have some good players but we have a lot of nqr's.
  4. The first 5 games killed us Mr. leg. With injuries our season was finished at that point. We are a bottom five team with multiple losses by large margins to teams in the bottom half of the ladder. Our list is better than bottom five but it is not a list that will play in a GF without some major changes. After the top half dozen we have no stars that will take us to a GF let alone win one. e.g. CHF and CHB. Lever is now injured for long periods and Turner is not a replacement. JVR is an Average player, he is not a top quality forward. We have some big holes to fill.
  5. Since hearing of his appointment back 6 months ago I have been critical of appointing someone who could not start till the season was over. I have wondered who the others were on the list? However on reflection ( it's always much easier to be clever after the evident) it may have been to our advantage. He has been able to observe without being involved on a day to day basis. I have wanted the AFL to appoint people from outside the old boys club so I wait to see how our adventure turns out. From zero knowledge it would appear the board decided some time ago that things needed a hard reset. Here we go, Coach gone, I expect more in the FD to follow and a top level player or 3 to be traded. Anyone on the player list who is now without a contract would seem to be an indangered species. An interesting few weeks awaits. Getting the Caulfield situation agreed would be a nice start.
  6. Thank you Joe for once again this year giving us your player review after each match. I hope you will front up again in 2026. Demonland without you would be a serious loss. A parting comment on your last player “ dull as always” why he keeps getting games is beyond me.
  7. I gave up after the saints game LH. My only interest in AFL is who we pick as coach and who gets traded from our list. A small correction. I am interested in how some of our Casey players perform in the finals games. I looked at the list last night and I reckon there are at least 8 who will never be senior level players.
  8. Excellent! That may well be the over statement of this month.
  9. DD I am old probably similar to you. I said to friend this morning that you can knock someone out and end their career. Potentially decreasing their quality of life for the next 50 years and get off Scot free to play in a GF. However if you call someone a name you get 4-5 games and potentially not play in a GF. It seems way out of wack to me.
  10. Yes a number where he was the sub however he has had a larger number as full games.
  11. What is the source of that comment DJ?
  12. I would normally say that he has shown over many seasons with 2 teams that he is nqr at senior level. However there are a number currently playing at senior level that are giving less than he would. After Saturday's senior game he should be selected for the game against the pies if we are serious about winning the game.
  13. A good win! Wow a Saturday afternoon game at 3.10. unheard of these days.
  14. He has had 15 senior games and shown very little at senior level. Of the senior games I have seen he has never justified a spot the following week. Sadly he is one of those players that is good at vfl level but not good enough at the next level.
  15. He has been at 2 AFL teams and failed show he has the talent to be a regular player at senior level. All over for him sadly.
  16. Still doesn't alter the fact he is seldom in the top 6 at Casey. Our forward needs lie elsewhere.
  17. Yep. He is hardly a good player at VFL level. Move on. Kentfield with terrible preseason is showing far more than him.
  18. Play him next week against the pies!
  19. Yes son he is the one!
  20. Agree billy it beggars belief that people want to drop them. Tmac is holding that defence together and has all year.
  21. Adams was imo poor. I saw nothing to suggest he will make a senior player If we are serious about trying to win this game he goes out for May. .
  22. Yesterday I went with the main objective of watching him. Took the binoculars to get a good look. In the first half he was poor. At half time from memory he 3 disposals, spent most of the first half on the forward line. There were a couple of times when team mates ignored him when he seemed to be the best option, have they lost confidence in him? They were times when I struggled to find him. His second half was better and snagged a goal in the third quarter. To me he looks slow perhaps that is the result of his injury and a poor re season. IMO his past performances are getting him games. Yesterday he was in the bottom third of player performances. That's a long way off his form back in 22/3.
  23. That is where he spent most of the game today!
  24. Once again Joe an excellent sumation with one minor change. Didn't earn spot.
  25. Quietly Wrecker it is only half time.
