Like your thinking DC but a convey of 4WD's would be preferable to a common bus. Hummers if possible. Althiough I'm not sure they'd have the wheelchair access that some D'landers would require.
-
Yes. Can do the drizabone - although the "lads" have been sleeping on it. You will need to find a suitably weather beaten akubra but I'm glad you're prepared to make an effort. BTW. Don't let it slip you're from Borwood.

As OD is aware I'm heading overseas on Sunday. So I'm just going to leave this little prewarning note for all to consider and put in the diary. "Bendigo has been chosen to host the prestigious 2013 Australian Alpaca Association (AAA) National Show & Sale at the Bendigo Exhibition Centre from October 10 to -13, 2013" Details will be online. However, this is an ideal opportunity for many of the uncouth types who post on Demonland to mix in refined company and (possibly) gain some couthness. DC take note - you need it. Stuie , you won't get past the gate. Lordweaver perhaps a psalm or two may help. Moon - no hope. Song - don't admit to being a teacher. OD, perhaps if WYL wheels you in you may get a concession entry. Redleg - bananas will do you no good. WJ - I'll get you a free pass if you exempt me from Biffen's fate at the Gatwick next time I insult someone. I haven't got all night so I hope the rest of you get the "vibe" of how prestigious and selective this event is, compare yourself to the group above, and decide whether or not you are worhty participants. BTW. As for the loon from WA. Bribery is your only (very faint) hope. No forget it, stay home and don't embarrass yourself.

If Spencer gets more weeks than Simpkin then.....
Bitter but optimistic replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Yet another example of our pizzweak club. Most posters appear to agree that Spencer should cop a stretch - fair enough. But how could Spencer being unco/clumsy be compared to a deliberate and malicious whack behind play. Just imagine the scenario if it was Collingwood player named Spencer. Eddie would be screaming about the injustice of it all and have it on the front page. Not at Melbourne. That squealing little [censored] Harvey got more publicity for being "pinched". FMD. How pizz weak is that? We are a Pizz weak club who will not even defend our players adequately. -
I cannot believe this kid gets a shitcanning. I saw him at training in the preseason and he looked a likely kid, albeit small. Therefore a logical position is to give him some time at Casey and see how he goes. He is still akid FFS.

You may be correct Gorg. If for no other reason than Jab's disclosure has opened a tanker full of worms and no one knows just how to handle it. Fat Andrew must be soiling his undies now because another shitfight has erupted on his watch.

Loved Spencer today. Best big man effort I've seen at Melbourne for about 3 years.

Peter Jackson on ABC right now
Bitter but optimistic replied to whatwhat say what's topic in Melbourne Demons
Jackson is a clever operator - no doubt. I just hope that we, the paying members, are kept honestly and openly informed of what is going on. -
Yeah - maybe a moderate punt.

I'm going with a big mouth Saints supporting mate. I would hate to both freeze my b---s off and end up in a punch on with the mouth. So, I'm hoping for a big win.

Demonland in an alternate universe
Bitter but optimistic replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
I've said many times that demonland is a sort of bizzaro world alternative universe. Just look at the lunatics who post here - they have to be the fantasy creations of a drug destroyed mind. In the real world Melbourne is undefeated this season and our 15 players in the top 100 are all tracking well. Jack Watts is an early favorite for both the Coleman and the Brownlow. He and Dawes will fight out the former. Our 17th flag is considered a near certainty and Collingwood coach Neeld finds himself under extreme pressure. -
I’m guessing this is your attempt at a witty retort. I have to say it failed rather badly. (Pathetically?) Your “word of the month” comment is just plain silly. I used “petulant" because it summed up the tone of your posts. You’ll need to improve dramatically if your attempts at repartee/debate or even providing an opinion on a topic are to be taken seriously.

Kennett future MelbourneFC President?
Bitter but optimistic replied to Satan's topic in Melbourne Demons
There were some real politicians - Joe and Russ. Flo's scones, bags full of cash and , of course, memory lapses. Where did those bags come from? Politicians today are a dull lot! -
You Burwood blokes are always looking for CIA plots or DaVinci codes etc.

Do you love a hypothetical?
Bitter but optimistic replied to ashdemons22's topic in Melbourne Demons
Let's just focus on getting the correct coach. (Roos in my opinion but I have a feeling we wont get him) -
I don't mind who is sponsored - they no doubt all need some support.

I'm good for $25.00.
