  1. I am trying to forget yesterday's nightmare!
  2. You're right he wasn't
  3. Gysberts was outstanding. Very cool and composed. At times he looked like a veteran. A bright spot in a very ordinary day
  4. I agree with your comment but WHY do we have to put up with it?
  5. The problem with finals in the foreseeable future is that we have no forwards. Yes Brad Green is a Trojan and maybe Jurrah will become what we all hope. Today Watts looked looked Newton on a bad day and worried me. Pettard?
  6. Well if I go next week I'll be crying amoung my own kind rather than listening to loud mouth poohs supporters
  7. We were pathetic. Improvement? Potential? Skills ? Desparation?? Playing in front???? Finals????? Finals in foreseeable future????????? I'm going away for the long weekend.
  8. Who cares about Riewoldt/Richmond. I hate Richmond, hope they dont win again- ever.
  9. When playing teams with a large membership (like Carlton) I prefer the Ponsford stand
  10. Given the development of these 2 sides I think this is a season defining (must win) game for Melbourne. Also given the nature of the sides Jamar's game will be critical- first use fast movement forward
  11. That is a very insulting comment -- If you happen to be a feral cat.
  12. A few years of consistent success and guys like Scully, Jurrah etc becoming "superstars" will boost memberships better than anything.
  13. Well that has cleared things up for me. At the time my wife and I looked at each other and thought "Nah must have misunderstood". He dropped it for sure - will probably have to apologise
  14. I've been following the Demons for over 50 years and apart from Neil Crompton and watching the brilliance of Number 2 during our ritual floggings in the 70's and 80's there have been few moments of pure joy. Things have finally changed- Scully Trengrove Grimes Mc Kenzie Jurrah etc have kickstarted my ticker. I actually believe a flag is on the horizon
  15. Probably no change. I would like Bail back in and I'm not convinced about Rivers. Given the conditions I reckon Hughes showed some promise.
  16. We sure need forwards. Let's hope Hughes shows something and JW hits his straps. IMO there is not much available at the moment.
  17. I thought he showed real promise last year but has moved like a draught horse this year
  18. It's great to take joy out the despair of others.
  19. Grimes is potential ++ He might even outshine Scullgrove
  20. I like Cheney but Johnson will allow Jamar some time up forward and he is quite mobile
  21. In- Bail Mckenzie Johnson Out- Pettard Martin Rivers
  22. Martin cannot take a mark. Johnson is a good option.
