I get the feeling about not being angry anymore, I just sit there laughing for most of the games. I'll keep going until they bury us but I shudder to think what crowds are going to look like by the end of the year.

I'd rather somebody with a bit of oomph in them, even Kennett, over him. Nice guy by all accounts, but we need a fighter now.

Voting directions - That Elephant in the room
Supermercado replied to beelzebub's topic in Melbourne Demons
Hopefully if somebody good turns up the current board rolls over. As much as I'd love an election for the option to put two sides up against each other and have them put their plans forward for the members to vote on the last thing we need at the moment is to be spending 100k+ putting on a postal vote for them to duke it out. Even if it means some board members survive under new leadership then so be it to save us the money that we can't afford to spend at the moment. Still got to get somebody to oppose the current board AND get them to agree to pull the pin though, otherwise it'll be just the usual two directors resigning at the end of their term and putting themselves back up for election. I don't know where the article saying you only need 100 votes for an EGM is getting its information but the constitution says a meeting other than the AGM can only be called by the board or "a director". There's no mention in there at all about a number of signatures of members to trigger a meeting. I wouldn't neck myself if Kennett ended up with the job but I'd rather we found somebody else who has the same aims but doesn't want to make it all about themselves. Don't care if they're an MFC fan or not if they can do the job. -
Don't mind his stat analysis (except when he tries to pretend Supercoach scores are meaningful), but when they let him give opinions he comes off as somebody you'd run a mile from if they approached you in the street.

The Starting Point Of When It Started To Go Downhill

That's working well. -
Eddie probably wants us to have a larger cap so we can fast-track our own demise and clear two sides out of Collingwood's marketplace.
-
Can he keep doing real-estate on the side so we can get away with paying him minimum wage? If so I'd take it.

Watts forward, Tapscott back. Inside 50 leads kicked to for a second week in a row. 'Effort' stays at the same level as last week. I'd also like more than 10 scoring shots, but against Freo in Perth I'm not holding my breath. Here's to 9.1 instead of 3.7.

Why mess around with mid-table teams when he could probably walk straight into the Hawthorn side?
-
Fair point. Probably more of a casual rub than a full scale fap session but you are correct.
-
Jesus christ I wish we had a player who commentators would fap over.

Bishop went alright at Port (and won a flag) but he was a spare parts player. We have a lot of spare parts players at the moment, but no stars to lead them in the right direction.

Being a Demons Fan Tumblr Page

I like that they've given up on a win. Not many MFC related people can say that recently. -
11,500 legit but they might boost it a bit to save face. God forbid we're getting thrashed at 3/4 time I can't wait to see how few people are left.

Wonder what PAUL ROOS is up to these days???
Supermercado replied to Pata's topic in Melbourne Demons
Just like his other hot exclusives on that page about Fev only not going to Sydney this because of Tippett and Toby Greene punching on with Jason McCartney? -
Poor Kern

Do we get a trophy for sacking four coaches in a row mid-season? Fat chance 200 though, Carlton aren't that good. 100 maybe - not that it would be good - but no chance they're a 50 point better side than Essendon.
-
Give your money to orphans or the poor instead. You'll better for losing it.

Tony Shaw is in the bottom bracket of commentators. Even Dwayne Russell and David King provide more value.

Bring back the sleazy cartoon Demon from the 80's.

An idea so crazy it might work - Tebow time

Will the AFL pay his salary for us? In that case I'll take any international no matter how ludicrous.
