  1. I agree- as our position on the ladder increases and people notice such a quality team - people will just want to come and watch- membership and sponsorship will also increase over the next 10 years.
  2. And they were he days- premiership after premiership too.
  3. Agree- we have enough project players now-Gawn & Fitzpatrick whilst I still classify Spencer as one. Will take nearly a decade for Gawn to reach his top.
  4. O well- if he goes to WC- well we will just have to pick up another.Plenty going around. I think he was made for us- however not much improvement in him- plenty in a bloke like Lynch.
  5. That is called initiative-good players have it- I had it- one's that can read the game.
  6. I also agree- I think he could become our Brian Lake- move down the forward line on occassions.
  7. I hear they would like us to go back next year or the one after that.I stated months ago that this match could be very important.Indeed it was- we will grow volumes for it-Together we grow-could be the new catch phrase with LJ starring in a new commercial.Don't forget he also one mark of the year. Also don't be surprised if we don't win another sponsor as well from this.A Win/Win for all and sundry.Go Dees.
  8. Called in yesterday - under water. In the future any one can call the club - they would love to hear from you. 9. Good luck to the tofs in the dining room- too expensive for me every time I go.
  10. He did look DAPPER- Good luck to him.
  11. Early on I said to some prominant members that I didn't think he'd cut it but I was also there at Visy Park where he took on Jacobs & co.-and I felt he held his own before tiring. If he can get himself fit- due to his health condition he will make it- actually could be more than alright. I also saw him in the Under 16's where I thought he was as good as Butcher as a developing key forward player. Good luck Jack, I hope you make it.
  12. YEP- Jack Darling or Thomas Lynch.
  13. I want him too- an accurate assessment -similar to our football dept wanting Hale but at the right pick.3rd round is very accurate.
  14. A great pick up- however what position does he play in a permanent role? Maybe a permanent interchange ?
  15. Played a couple of ok games at the end- but won't make it- gone I say too.
  16. Big Bob Johnson Senior & Junior along with Ron Barrassi Snr & Jnr. But the best in recent times has to be David Neitz.
  17. I think that is a great suggestion
  18. I still feel that Cheney was shafted- this is my opinion. And I wish James the best.
  19. You are so correct on both accounts- the one's able to train did so- naturally the ones injured or recovery is in place didn't.I here that they may go back next year to do some training over there- interesting-Ha
  20. I'd say a good ordinary player at best - but certainly not a LEGEND.
