Cameron Bruce , a longtime friend of Brad Green would make a suitable right hand man for Goody.Bruce has great experience as a coach.

We forget, Tom started and worked with Will Minson and helped develop Tim English at the Dogs, He went to North Melb under Will Minson, understudy to Todd Goldstein and helped to develop talls in Larkey and Cobden along with Xerri.He left and became understudy to Marshall and helped in development of Heath ,Haynes etc.He is a great clubman ,winning St Kilda’s best clubman last year and never played a senior game.Not a champion footballer but a champion bloke whom will give his best, and develop the young ones…They will look up to him, respect him and great for the culture and development of our young talls especially with Stafford going.He will be a great assistant to our new midfield and new ruck/ forward coach moving forward.Only downer is we live in Kensington , along way from Cranbourne.He has been working at the AFL after being recommended by Laura Kane..Great credential’s for us to rebuild, in my opinion.

Fox is correct, Tom is my next door neighbour whom I tried to get him to Demonland 5 years ago , after he was sacked by the Dogs.He will be doing a medical this week at the club, but he WILL be at Demonland .He is looking forward to working with Gawn. He will make a great understudy , but he will be an excellent clubman and coach of the younger ones.

As pointed out last week- heads should roll.. players are not up to scratch.- Bowey, McVee, Howe, Sparrow, Billings, Laurie, Chandler ,Turner are all players I currently question - are they up to it.? Players that are not being given a go re Fullerton, Kolstrup, Brown , AMW should be looked at NOW. The coaching panel should be questioned heavily.,playing payers totally out of form, or being played in positions which seem they are not suited in re Howe- back pocket, Turner- key position.Petty - tall forward, 2nd ruck. I blame Richardson here- he is in charge of performance - time to go? Furthermore Williams- development and kicking - a disgrace & has been all year. They are destroying this club.

Sestan (38)- has played better and more consistantthan him,along with AMW.Both deserve a go after last weeks debacle - AFL& VFL.

The president is the head of the organisation…one that makes decisions, strategy and gets the job done..Kate has not done so…needs to get out…caused to much angst at the club in my opinion..stayed to long with inactivity. re Pert.financially we were a lot better…under Jim Caldwell,we were elite..should have bought the Hilton, now Pulman for our social aspects.Change is needed at this club - and in many aspects…

What a pathetic position this club is currently in….The board led by a lame duck President cannot get us a training ground after many years in the job, ditto Pert as CEO…Alan Richardson has been our head of football which is currently in a total mess and May become worse re salary cap issues re Gus.The coaching panel has been the same for many years now without change, the list is poor…not much depth whatsoever.We desperately need to recruit another ruckman ,tall back or we will end up in bottom 4., in no time.In my opinion , the recruiting over the last couple of years has been poor.Gaining, McADam, Billings, Fullerton have been poor choices indeed.We are very inconsistent , and our so called elite footballers are also in and out.( go missing)- need a major review with a lot of heads chopped . This is my view as a 73 year old, 50 year member .

Fair analysis in my opinion.

Billings has only played 8 games with us, still learning and adapting….class player at best.I would consider Verall to come in to cover JVR.

He is lucky to get a kick at Casey, far from impressive so far but I think he’s not fit as yet.

Very weak effort indeed….showed little heart , lacked skills especially in the guts
