  1. I agree and Liam Jurrah is only 188 cms & champion or at least very very good Full forward in Modra & Dunstall were the same height - and we are all crying out for a monster Full forward at least 195cms tall. However, my friend-Daisycutter- there is NO NO hope of you and I having a groth spurt - the only way we would do it -is outways - getting more rotund..Got it??
  2. Well you have been waiting a bloddy long time- my old trooper friend- like me..
  3. A chance along with Murphy, a first-round selection in the 2003 draft, kicked 50 goals from 48 games in his seven seasons but, despite solid performances in the WAFL, he could never find the consistency required at the top level just been delisted from Fremantle.Comes from Gippsland-.193 cms tall-25 yrs old,92 kls- The key forward has played six seasons but is yet to reach 50 games. Played five consecutive games early in 2009 before suffering a finger injury that required surgery later in the year. Displayed fine form in the WAFL. Has undoubted talent and, at his best, is a strong mark with a huge leap. Our FD will either flick Newton and go with one of these or keep him IMO.
  4. And if he does- he could end up the best of the Jack's..
  5. Another tall that might be considered as a tall key forward whom can ruck a little is Adam Pattison recently delisted from St Kilda. He started his foorball career at Richmond playing CHF then progressed through desperation into the ruck. The desperation from Richmond was caused because they had no other at the time to play ruck. At 24, 197/8 cm tall, body already developed at 96/7 kls and played 66 games,I feel he is not far behind Hale as a possibility. No doubt after not getting Hale and Bails stating we need an experienced tall down forward this maybe a worthwhile punt for a 1 year contract.
  6. I and many others on several other threads have stated many of your summation thoughts re your analysis with regards to our needs for future list management.Excepting I don't feel we need another crumbing forward-we have Davey, Green,Jurrah,Bennell,Jetta, Maric, Petterd,Tapscott,& Wonaeamirri along with Hughes if we keep him on the list as strong possibilities to cement spots in this role.I also don't believe we need at this stage to recruit anymore midfielders due to the pending arrival of Jack Viney. We have plenty whom can run through the guts IMO.
  7. Picking my suggestions now HT- CAN'T YOU FIND ANY YOURSELF..
  8. Don't worry we all make mistakes,E does reguarly and so do I - and many like us..
  9. No need to worry about this- he played reserve footy this year and starred.Let him develop in his own age group and train with the club in his last year..that IMO.
  10. KC- AS personally said- thanks again for your contribution again this year- I'd be very interested to ask you- Is James Wall a chance to become a MC rookie? Will Mathews resume? I here he is going to be offered to train with the club. What does Casey require as listed players for 2011. I think they need at least a couple of talls-CHB& CHF types. What are your thoughts? Thanks in anticipation
  11. I said--WILL BE- some of you posters want to or should read other posts before you get on and write crap-if not the MODS should ban ya.I think he can be another Green. In that he can be very versatile and play in many different roles. He has played HBF, WING, HFF, FF, FP and ruck so far..he will turn in time to be a super player for us IMO.And where did I say he would make a supertar CHF..????
  12. He wants it- I believe it ws one of the conditions he stayed- to one day captain his club...and he will be getting it-Green(captain) Davey(v/c) Maloney(v/c) Rivers, Grimes & Frawley in the leadership group- I'm tipping Bruce will not be there.
  13. Definately not now we have Todd Viney back.
  14. He will play school -with the possiblity but doubtful he will play Under 18 TAC CUP matches.I gather he will go back to Carey Grammar school.
  15. Yiou would have to be joking-- Dunn delisted- he will be a superstar next year.
  16. Good points you raise- I believe that one of the polsters will get the nod- I feel Brad Green is the most likely and best choice. However, I feel that at least two of the younger players will be incorporated in the leadership group- being Grimes & Frawley.Green is the most flexible and positional interchange player in the team, in that, he can play hbf, wing, centre, hff, fp or FF and he can get around the ground and lead and captain all over the ground. This no doubt will bring on the players. Also he should get it re his personal performance- Mike Sheehan rates him in the top 20 players going around at the moment- a personal great acheivement and in particular in the twilight of his career.Captain for 2/3 years then we will have a very strong leadership group behind him and really ready for the premiership onslaught..
  17. I have had a real hard look at this draft- and in my opinion for the picks we have- 12,32, 49 & now 52.. we should get some great draftees.Seems to have a real lot of taller picks which we can risk few re 49 & 52.. The early ones should be best two players ..just hope it holds up for our draft 52.. that is why we ley Kyle go today -- first 52 should be ok..will be interesting might pick up an experienced player..for this pick.
  18. I agree- similar fate with Laycock from Essendon- but if he was right-after Doctors agree, I'd give him a go as a rookie.
  19. I agree-Newton an thank his VERY LUCKY STARS once agin IMO.
  20. Don't forget Freo has just traded to get Jonathon Griffin.
  21. After this trade period -I have no doubt that after consulting ID- We will have four picks-12, 32 ,49 and 52. We will delist two other players - either offer them for draft or our rookie list. I think 3 rookies will also be delisted.
  22. B:Bartram Rivers McDonald HB:Grimes Frawley Garland C:Morton Sylvia Bruce HF: Dunn Watts Petterd F: Davey Jurrah Green R:Jamar Moloney Scully I:Trengove, McKenzie, Martin S:Bate
  23. He is still an MFC player till the end of this month...that is per contract..
  24. Thanks RR for bringing this to our attention-I forgot about Byron-How could I -sorry all.And I forgot also re John Meeson..
