Very good below the knees with a great body to work with and as I said earlier,we have the knowledge on him. If the drafting people do not think he is up to it, they will not select him. Long way to go to November 26th

Very good points Enforcer25, however consider a player like Joel Selwood. Would we all like him right now. Futhermore,their are not too many quality talls .I rate Ben Griffiths as a quality big young man. Someone whom can take a contested mark, break packs and is extremely good with hands and feet. V

In watching the TAC finals last weekend I noticed Paul Wheatley at quarter time decked out in an Eastern Ranges outfit and had the forward line together discussing strategies. I spoke to Wheaters after half time and he relayed he had been helping the club out all year when available. In looking at our current football department and their current backgrounds,I noticed that 3 others had strong Eastern Ranges backgrounds, Connolly & Prendergast previously coached there, GaryBurleigh whom met Connonlly back in 1996 when he coached there have a great insight to under age footy and in particular at Eastern Ranges.Therefore, one could assume would have a great insight into and in particular Ben Griffiths. Along with the above,Craig Notman, formerly the assistant to Kevin Sheehan as the role Team Manager at the AIS/AFL & AFL talent Co ordinator for several years before joining us recently as our football operations Manager have a great amount of knowledge to bring us the most important draft picks in our history. Along with Tim Harrington and John Turnbull (ex Hawthorn Recruitment manager -whom recommended in particular-Jamie Bennell), I feel very satisfied that we will gain the required list changes. This is my first ever post and look forward to commenting in the future.

Did you notice that Paul Wheatley was in the coaches box for Eastern Ranges. The same team that both Prendergast and Connolly coached at before. Wheaters has been with Eastern Ranges for all of this year when available to assist them. So surely he would have a very good knowledge to pass on re Griffiths. Don't you think?
