I think Danny Hughes maybe delisted,unfortunately..to gain a bigger taller forward.

No Scott has said he wanted to come back to Melbourne - he did not say MFC. A real long shot Scott to us- but you never know- I think Laidley would be far better. But we hope to gain a good quality one.I've heard strong rumours that John Barker maybe heading our way..stay tuned...or maybe Serhat Temel to do our Forward coaching..Just rassin with the last bit..

Technically the last trade pick was last year,when we gained pick 11- and got Jordon Gysberts.However, by memory the last player gained trade was Clint Bizzell .Others will correct me if I'm wrong.If memory serves me correct gained Bizzell for picks 2001 - Clint Bizzell to Melbourne for picks #17 (James Kelly) & #41 (Henry Playfair) The last trade where we lost a player was Travis Johnstone - for pick 14- Jack Grimes in 2007. I think they are the last but I stand to be corrected.

I think there is a great chance we will pick up Dowler or Sentata or another tall for a low pick.I think we will drop Johnson & McNamara to the rookie list that is IMO..

Not ONLY LITTLE- He is not BIG BODIED....& GC will pick him up as a player previously listed - being Hawthorn.

It does say--- Relatively quiet end to the week Expect things to heat up massively over the weekend. Expect a big name to emerge and be linked to essendon . Therefore does not say anything about going to Essendon.

It could be Hille to the Dees for pick 32 or Laycock for 5th draft pick.I'm dreaming- who knows--none of us...

I think we had his brother 4/5 years back whom went ok- don't want this one- would not get a game in our team as it stands IMO..

Simply either delisted or retained on rookie list - playing in China which surprised me if the intention was to delist him. Therefore I think he will be retained and be one of the luckiest footballers ever.

Well said however it would be good to stitch him away.

Kyle will only be going to one place-China with our football club.

It is IMO that PJ will be delisted and put back on the Rookie list ifnot picked up.He will replace Meeson. Newton will stay a rookie.

Whilst we all have thoughts on whom should replace Wellman- it is a mighty important decision by our FD. We have had a great defence orchestrated and developed by Wellman and now has become the one of the best backline in the AFL. We need to continue down this path. With the promise of our mdfielders the coaching of this area is critical to our future wishes for premiership glory. Lastly our forward structure of having players such as Petterd, Bate, Jetta and Maric fighting for a spot along with Green, Dunn,Watts, Davey, Wonaeamirri along with the development of Gawn and Fitzpatrick and the probability of getting Hale brings me to the point that maybe we should gain a specialist forward coach such as John Barker to our fold to instrument a similar position to Wellman and our current backline .This also would allow us to go after a part time defensive specialist coach such as Max.
