The major issue with Hahn was money.They just couldn't fit him in under the salary cap.

This was done to a large degree with the trip to China.At least something to build upon.The recent loss of senior players will come around.It takes time.

I agree with your point of view-also his adaptability thus flexibility is also another factor along with experience.

There is no doubt in my mind that the FD are trying to develop a culture and in it a climate that everyone is playing for their spot and if the FD does not feel you warrant being on the list- they will turn you over- however IMO- doing this to Bruce & Junior is going a little too far- but we will never know the exact situation that happened.

What Gooner has pointed out really makes BP & the recruiting staff task very diddicult.It will be very interesting whom we pick- but I believe some experienced players will be in the mix at least.IMO at least two of the five will be experienced footballers either from the AFL or other leagues.I might add- I thought with Bruce leaving we now have 5 picks in the National draft & 5 rookie picks. I understand we may only take 4 picks in the National leaving a pick in the PRE SEASON DRAFT- Am I correct or wrong again?

I agree totally- we should in my opinion draft at least 4 talls from our 10 picks. Please do not forget to let me know whilst absent.

However note,the foil has kicked 50 goals in a year. Pretty good foil I think.However, I feel Petterd and Jurrah, both have the ability no doubt of kicking at least that in a season as well. It would allow a very penetrating forward line which opposition coaches would have a nightmare with. We know doubt will recruit at least one more tall to develop as well.

I believe we can achieve both finals whilst gaining pertinant experience.

I agree-consideration all round. And this is called a partnership. Now your problem.The Dees will make the eight. I think they can win at least 12 games.If this is so- Saturday would look most likely the day they will play.Therefore Friday would be the most suitable timeslot for the 21st.But what about - your head. Will you have a hangover. Would you be ok for an after lunch game.Maybe - have the party on Sunday night- safest bet for all.

As a leading tall forward- definately worth looking at. May even be a geat foil for the likes of Jurrah,Petterd etc.. Just maybe the one. Please note I am very disappointed re Bruce.

Unfortunately some do get hurt during pre training & training.. Injuries do happen even when unexpected. Just hope they are minimal,as we deserve to have a less injury year,although last year wasn't to bad. No majors- so we can be very happy with that.

Chris Grant- Western Bulldogs-Grant was recruited by the Footscray Football Club (now Western Bulldogs) in the 1988 VFL Draft at pick number 105, and played his first AFL game in 1990 at the age of 17. Grant kicked 51 goals that season, the youngest player in VFL-AFL history to achieve this feat, to be the leading goalkicker for the club.Very stiff not to win a Brownlow- I think he was robbed by the league.

No ruddy idea- I have been spruiking for many years and I had never ever had heard of him. And not many did till the article. I'd pick up at 12 --Keast if he nominated.I know him and watched him towel up Watts in a School game at CHB. I should not say towelled him up but I think he beat him on the day.
