Everyone at some time in life needs a helping hand-whether it is from a friend, life coach, mentor or whomever--Cameron Butler can assist in virtually all aspects, not only religeon.
Everyone has weaknesses- but this guy is one of the most dedicated young men going around-if one can get up at 4am -leave Geelong daily to get to training then he deserves the greatest chance of all to reach his dream of playing AFL ffotball.Attitude is a very important ingredient.Likewise Tom McDonald who also use to get up and travel hours to go to training, from Edenhope to Ballarat. If we can have this highly inspirational attitude collectively in our playing group we will go far- to the TOP.
A far better ruckman than Hale- can also play key back or forward. He played full back for Hawthorn several times against the monsters. A geniune flexible footballer whom whilst versatile will also be a great mentor along with hopefully a great player.Great pick up.And well done to BP and the rest of the footy dept.We have a very good listto go forward now.
TMac will make it but very injury prone. Saw him last Friday only running laps- therefore in rehab or at least not right to join main group. We maybe should have let it go to March- but gee with our list now - just a small risk.
Unbelievable surprise- great pick up for leadership and experience topas onto our list. Will no doubt be a great coach for the likes of Gawn & Fitzpatrick.
I also attended most of the session today.Like Pinball-could not get over the height and build of the players. Also using alot more ball work than in previous years. Two players that do not get mentioned on this site very much- Jetta & Maric, very much impressed me.They looked fit enough to play next week.I had trouble recognising some- they may have to put no's on their training jumpers in future-albeit alot had them off today due to the conditions.I thought Nicholson the young guy from Uni Blues looked good too.
And the track is almighty for training on.
