Has to be, as both Petracca and Weideman have both gone to Whitefriar's.
Plus Weideman is the only notable grandson of a Pie great in this draft i would've thought.
We can still go after Prestia next year by trading another future 1st rounder to GC (2017), we may even give up our 2nd rounder (2016) to help give them points for their Academy player's they have next year.
It just mean we won't be able to do any future picks trading of 1st rounders for the next 2 years afterwards.
Not sure if the Suns have any academy kid who will cost them that much though. They have a few coming through next year, which is why they took our first rounder next year for them.
It may be Curnow, it may be Parish, hell it may be Weideman. Either way, we have targeted a player at 3 and (Taylor) want him. That fills me with some comfort.

Whoops!!!
GNF you're an absolute muppet. From all the un-eventuated cr@p you dribbled last trade period to the above opinion that directly contradicted what Mahoney said on the radio, i'd have more belief in a mail-box than the stuff you hear!
Not your problem, so don't worry about it. With Taylor now in charge as opposed to that imposter Pretendergast, i will put my faith in whoever we pick at 3 because we have clearly had that kid ear-marked.
Pick 10 is the more interesting one.
