  1. when was the last time we "smashed" a team. Would have to be back in the Bailey era
  2. Agree. Why is it that we put in 'good' performances only after a humiliating loss? A very noticeable trend under the Roos regime. Having said that, i still think North will put us to the sword. Hopefully then it will dawn on the playing group just how much further they still have to go.
  3. Roosy also said in his press conference that a few boys were "big headed" heading into the game, whilst Zach Merrett thought we were rather lackluster. Is it not Roos' job to ensure that such mentalities are not present? If that was the attitude of some of our boys heading into the game and he recognised this, yet did nothing to rectify it, then Roos and the coaching group had already failed, even before the ball was bounced. I find that very concerning from our head coach (the entire coaching group actually).
  4. I agree, he's played 22 games thus far in his career, he has no right to continually stick his arms up like a prima donna, or be so demanding of his teammates. Yes delivery has been poor and he hasn't had many chances to see the ball, but he hasn't done much to rectify this himself. If Jesse wants to be treated like a star, firstly he needs to become one (he isn't one yet), and even if he does, he should still have a team first attitude, rather than the more individualistic demeanor he has displayed so far this year.
  5. After Saturday's performance, we'll be lucky to break 37,000
  6. I've got a better chance of picking the powerball numbers, than i do of guessing which side shows up each week. Having said that, we've only played 2 good quarters for the year (not including nab challenge), so worrying signs
  7. No, we are 1-1. pre-season counts zero to the actual thing.
  8. That and decent back-up for Gawn
  9. Even a broken clock is right twice a day. But he is more likely right than not, with this one.
  10. Reckon the Tiger fans will outnumber the Filth's by a fair margin.
  11. He was, as he was for going after Jesse Hogan. But for the 'good' he did, there was just too much bad involved. Not all his fault though, he just wasn't the best at dealing with a group of 40-plus guys at once.
  12. If we lose, then you can [censored] and moan.
  13. Oscar is not best 22, Dunn is. Playing with fire here
  14. Pfft that's easy to predict. They're always having a sook.
  15. Hate to sound pessimistic, but we will be lucky to crack 40,000 members this year. Don't get me wrong, i hope we do, but i reckon we will fall 1,000-2,000 short of 40k. Though i won't be surprised if we get up to 45k members next year, with quite a few jumping back on board.
  16. It's the first time since the 2000 GF parade that i've seen a melbourne player holding the premiership cup................ Goosebumps. One day............One day.
  17. Don't forget the Ox after his 3 knee reco's. He was still a bloody good CHF after he came back
  18. May as well close the thread, i'm calling it. You're not gonna get a better winner than that right there.
  19. Very few will ever come close to being worthy of Robbie's status though, fence.
  20. A good performance today, but today's game should be his standard output, not like the mare he had last week. His aerobic capacity and overhead marking are elite. Wouldn't look out of place at CHF with those traits. Dawes would dearly love to have them at his disposal.
  21. I also thought the Saints player made it look a lot worse than it was, playing for the free kick.
  22. Just be glad he didn't call Davey....or worse the wiz.............or even worse Sean Charles
  23. If it's not Hawthorn, he knows SFA. It was dumb & dumber & dumberer in the commentary box today, FMD. They made Kingy's comments all the more expert.
  24. BS forget today, use it as motivation
