  1. Robbie was an exception (and a freak)
  2. I know that i never have. But it's a bit easier for me, as i don't drink alcohol.
  3. Having spoken to him a couple of times (Petracca), he seems like a lad that only accepts giving 100%, so i doubt he would endorse such an approach from one of his mates at school.
  4. Even if he did, Olisik would have us believe that Oliver had the ability to magically control his BAC levels through sheer willpower!
  5. If the club were interested in him with one of our top picks, this wouldn't scare them off. It just means a little bit of education and support is needed. If we had question marks about him, then we won't be drafting him after this episode.
  6. Said club is so rotten with paper bag dealings, it wouldn't surprise me in the least.
  7. There goes any chance of getting Weideman at pick 7.
  8. Now why can't i have a body like that?
  9. There's no way Weideman should come in to pick 3 calculations. Not with what's likely to be available at that pick. Pick 7, whilst only 4 picks later (not including academy bids), is a slightly different matter.
  10. If this is the Alex Morgan we're talking about, there's no way they'll last to pick 46!!! https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alex_Morgan I've got the right Alex Morgan right?
  11. Buckenara loves Kieran Collins ALMOST as much as Olisik loves Oliver.
  12. I disagree completely. Schwab did so much more damage to this footy club towards the end of his tenure than Scully ever could have. Sure T$ left for money after only 2 years, but our culture was so toxic which Schwab had a huge role in developing. Scully's defection gave us the ability to bring in Hogan. After Schwab got through with running (or is that ruining?) the club, we were in such a bad state that the AFL had to step in and virtually take over. Schwab did to us off-field, what Prendergast did to us on-field. He was just able to get away with it for longer.
  13. I think in Nick Vlastuin's interview with the club, he told our recruiter's in no uncertain terms that he had no interest in playing for a club that had tanked.
  14. The thought that pops into my head when seeing this is, who would i welcome back to the club first..............this muppet or T$? Talk about Sophie's Choice.
  15. If we select Weideman, he should be made to change his name by deed-poll to Weidemon
  16. His signature was all the more vital given Roos is stepping down as coach at the end of this coming year, as highlighted by Bartlett, "This is a good day for the club. We got on the front foot. With 'Roosy' doing the (coaching) handover next year I just thought it was important to have that stability".
  17. PJ re-commits. Wonderful Melbourne CEO Peter Jackson recommits to Demons
  18. Does anyone know how Schache went with his testing? Would be good to compare the 2, although Scache's kicking is well above Weidemans.
  19. beep tests and sprint times mean very little to me. As i recall, Watts had a very impressive 20m sprint time (doesn't show on the footy field).
  20. I'd rather have weideman and Oliver, as opposed to Parish and Curnow.
  21. Anyone heard how he tested today and what he was tested in?
  22. I don't know which would have me more pleased, a Parish/Curnow double or a Weideman/Oliver double. As a pure forward i'd have Weideman over Curnow, as Weideman is physical and more of a natural FF (allowing Hogan to roam as he pleases as CHF). As a pure mid, i'd have Oliver just about= to Parish. I'd say Parish has better skill, versatility and more runs on the board, but Oliver is a physical beast with a thirst for contact.
  23. He can bat both left and right handed. He can part the seas, stop time, walk on water...........he can do it all!
