AFLW Round 7 - Melbourne V Fremantle
Demon Disciple replied to Dee Gee's topic in AFLW Melbourne Demons
That Sarah Perkins is a big girl, but gee she can play! -
McDonald, McDonald and Garland all in the back-line? Don't worry about the problem of turning the ball over at CHF, we'll be turning it over at CHB!

The ground is just an absolute farce, i'm not a tall person at all (170ish cms), but struggle for leg room with the chairs in front at etihad, never have this issue at the G

AFL member here (Melbourne club support, but also a Melbourne reserved seat member), so will just go through the gates. No waiting in line for me (besides security check)

unfortunately for Trenners, his injury has seen his career jeopardised. He was given plenty of time to recover and make it back to the big leagues, but he is simply not the player her was, let alone what he would've developed into, prior to his foot injury.

3 Years since we lost Bails
Demon Disciple replied to Sir Why You Little's topic in Melbourne Demons
I felt sadness in Jim's passing, but the build-up was one that we all saw coming eventually. Robbie's and Bails' passing were and still are more of a shock. Part of me will always be unable to comprehend the passing of all 3 great blokes. I wouldn't go as far to say that life can be cruel, as it is to be celebrated and enjoyed whilst we're living, but this is a constant reminder of just how delicate and precious life is. May they continue to rest in peace. -

not be surprised if we dropped the game against Carlton the following week. -
The "Viney can't kick" stigma...fair or unfair?
Demon Disciple replied to P-man's topic in Melbourne Demons
Jack's never going to be an elite kick, but that's not an issue. So long as he continually improves on it, he will get better and better. Which can only be good for us, as he's already a very good player! -
like us against WCE, we'll get a better understanding of where the Saints are at next week against the Swans.

remind me again how we've lost to this rabble in the past 2 years?

He could've had 10 mouthguards in, King's foot would've still knocked all his teeth out. -
Totally agree SWYL. To me he is just a lackadaisical footballer. He has his supporters on here, but i have just never seen the benefits he provides.

JLT Round 2 vs. Carlton at Casey Fields
Demon Disciple replied to Wiseblood's topic in Melbourne Demons
Until he improves his kicking he will be struggling to cement a position. Once he does though, he'll become an almost automatic selection, as he can find a fair bit of the footy. -

THE BOMBERS' DOPING SAGA - THE FAT LADY SINGS
Demon Disciple replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in General Discussion
Hate the EFC with a passion. They got what they deserved. But the head honchos at AFL headquarters are as corrupt as FIFA under Blatter. Would not trust Gil for a second. I would love to see that he gets what's coming to him too. What's worse, is that the fat one has been able to wipe his hands and break away from all this cleanly. Him and Gil can be cell buddies for corruption and perverting the course of justice. -
He'll never possess the kicking, smarts or game sense that Jack does. That's not a knock on Weideman at all, given few would match Jack in all these areas (at our club anyway).
