Dock lands size oval is farcical. Our home ground is the MCG, it simply must be the same dimensions as the G, otherwise we may as well train on a soccer pitch

Rumour only file ...
That he is. Apparently Burgess was a big part of getting Brown across the line, so no idea why he would’ve come across with Burgo leaving. I call BS

Pies into Petracca?
No doubt the filth would like to get their hands on Trac, as would the other 16 clubs. silly thread with a silly title

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Agree BDA. Scrap all bar the F/S rule. I believe such clubs should be allowed to recruit players under F/S, however there should be no discount applied. They get the choice of matching or not.

Proud to Belong, Proud to Give
Anyone know what the fundraising is up to now? My computer continues to show $248k.

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
The vast majority of left footers are. They wouldn’t know their right foot to save themselves (coming from a leftie)

Rumour only file ...
Yep, just a year after they try and take Jackson away from us. They can gagf.

Rumour only file ...
If I was North, there’d be no way I trade that pick to the Scum. Get McDonald for themselves and have him partner Larkey for the next decade.

We haven’t had a better CHF since Schwartz, so even post 3xACL’s, he was a bloody good footballer

Billy Stretch Reflects on 12 Months Out of the Game
Good to see that there are pathways and procedures put in place to help past players transition back into the ‘normal’ world. Talk about feeling lost having retired and realising you probably have another 30 years of your professional career ahead of you. Basically starting back at square one at 30 years of age.

Trade Targets
Well we know that Phillips is on very good coin, and with the Lions paying a huge chunk of Witherden’s salary at the Weagles, i’d say that we couldn’t afford them, particulary with TMAC’s wage.

TMac on the Trade Table?
Comparing TMAC’s output compared with Treloar’s, I’d say we just about are.

TMac on the Trade Table?
Big D indeed @old dee. Might need to add a H on the end as well

TMac on the Trade Table?
For $700k TMAC is bloody expensive backup.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BEN BROWN
Nothing will be announced until after trade week closes, so that the AFL can build the anticipation. Stupid.

New CEO - Gary Pert
By the time we get around to announcing and getting approval for our new digs, Governments will be saying that they are all out of money.

AFL Trade Radio
If it meant getting both off our list (given we no longer seem to want them), then a token 4th rounder would do it for me, opening up some cap space (whoever is responsible for the cap needs to go, how can we have it so tight yet not even be finals worthy?)

Geelong’s continued assistance from state, federal, and local govt
Seriously? He would abandoned you and throw you under the bus at the drop of a hat. The only loyalty he wants is to him, not the other way around.

Farewell Oscar McDonald
One didn’t have the body to stand up to the rigours of AFL. The other, well he had just about 0 AFL qualities (especially the hunger/dedication) - even his own manager told him to expect being taken as a late 2nd/3rd round pick.
