Richo Impressed By Goodwin
For all we know, Richo could be saying that Goody has gone up a notch in his book. Putting him at notch one.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
You make a good point RG. I'm not 100% up to date on the benefits of compression apparel, but is there a rule preventing HB from playing games in them? If that constant pressure applied to the calves even helps out 1%, why not wear them in games?

Financial Issues MFC
Unfortunately for everyone involved at the MFC (even the fairweather members), this have proven to be all too hard on too many occasions.

Melbourne’s Mount Rushmore
Dominance in time of prosperity is one thing, dominance in times of extreme hardship is something else. Robbie the greatest demon for me.

If it takes that long so be it. 2000 doesn't seem that long ago.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - HARLEY BENNELL
Hoping his dedication to getting serious about his football rubs off on a lot of the playing group.

Petracca Raring to Go
Trac has always been ripped. The problem in the past has been that he has been carrying too much muscle. He's never had a fat issue.

Cap May Squeeze Out Fritsch
Going by the contracts thread, there are 17 players OOC. I'd have Fritsch as the third most important to sign behind Trac and Vines. He ain't going anywhere. But nice try Ralph you muppet.

TRAINING: Wednesday 27th May 2020
from what i remember, John was a 2 fingers type of guy. Toby's not mucking about and gone with the 4. Poor Harmesy.

TRAINING: Wednesday 27th May 2020
I would temper your astonishment DD. Having seen him in person recently, he is still quite rakish and skinny. Sure he's toned with little to no puppy fat (which enhances the illusion of size), but he's got a fair ways to go yet in having a body ready for AFL.

Training Ground?
We should have exclusive rights to the indoor hall, 13th. Anything that is built for us as a training facility should be ours and only ours (from a professional organisation perspective). Happy for it to also be used as a community facility, except for all those [censored] NIMBYS (they'd be the first to want to access it too i reckon)

Training Ground?
At the worst of gridlock times on the Monash carpark, you're getting closer to 1.5 hours Cards. It truly is a [censored] road. There are way too many on-ramps, imo.

Kevin Sheedy Hypocrite
That pompous fool has a very selective memory.

Training Ground?
I 100% agree with you @58er. Nothing is given only earned. In order to earn a premiership, a club must properly prepare itself by providing all employees with the proper facilities (for which we have severely lacked for decades). If land near the G cannot provide for this, then it would be foolish to insufficiently cram it all in. Do it once. Do it right.

Training Ground?
Good luck trying to convince the current board, who appear to be transfixed on being within the MCG precinct. I don't quite understand the stubborn fascination with the G. What has it done for us in the past 56 years? One thing it hasn't is given us a flag.

Training Ground?
Agree with what you said @Half forward flank. If it is a bit of an issue, just get the player's to be sponsored by a jaguar dealership. A new $150k Jaguar in their driveways will probably keep em quiet ?.

3 weeks away
Agree dl4e. Looking at that side, our forward line (KPF's) is massively our achilles heel. Needs fixing and pronto.

AFL Membership Refund
Could you elect for the partial refund to go to the club? Every little bit helps.

Dees vs Pies 2000 The Wizard's 9 Goals
Compared to the forward lines of yesteryear, our current one is an absolute embarrassment. Can it be that the Corona virus has saved Goodwin's job for another year? He quickly dispatched Roos' defensive gameplan, into one that is kamikaze with a virtual third tier forward line. ps - watching those vids just reminded me of my dislike for Tarkyn Lockyer. The bloke was a faux tough guy who liked to dirtily give it out, but sooked up big time when he got a faint touch. M@ggot. Seeing Wiz tear him a new one was mesmerising watching!
