  1. so...............................Crisp may be gettable next year due to the devastation of possibly losing Elliott this year. Good to know!
  2. I don't think he is officially off their list until the end of October, when players' contracts terminate.
  3. I'd argue that Edwards would be numero uno, but pretty sure he just put pen to paper
  4. get on the blower, we're needing a new doc at our club aren't we?
  5. He seems to run himself into trouble a fair bit, would be a miniature version of Frosty.
  6. Forgive me, but what is the importance of Saturday?
  7. The thing i like about Young's kicking is his penetration. Not only can he hit a target lace out, he can get it there quickly. That kick against WA (whilst admittedly just one kick) was jaw-droppingly good.
  8. @Demons11 What have you heard D11?
  9. I would. He was starting to hit his straps when he went down and if he was able to get though the entirety of the U18 carnival, i reckon he would've easily pushed his name up to be equal to the likes of Ash and Young. He's quick and explosive (hopefully that won't fade after he recovers from his ACL), takes a good grab, likes to throw his weight around and is a good kick. Given the so called 'evenness' after the top 2 picks, i wouldn't be upset if we decided to take Kemp if we had pick 3.
  10. If we're gonna take pick 3 to the draft, i'd want to bring in a kid with either elite kicking skills or elite pace. Serong isn't elite in either of these.
  11. Wouldn't mind trying to lure Newnes across.
  12. I'm sorry but Chris Pelchen is the day before yesterday's news. He's been riding the coattails of his success at Hawthorn for nearly 15 years now. If you look at how he did at the Saints, you could interpret that he got rather lucky when at the Hawks (or was simply in the right place at the right time). Some people just fail to accept that time has passed them by.
  13. the question might have been rhetorical AF!
  14. Seeing as both Dees2020Premiers and 2020istheyearGoDeez both signed up within the past hour or so, they're one and the same poster and a troll.
  15. Withholding popping the champagne just yet then, if you say so ET.
  16. You know i'd just about stomach the farce that the AFL dictated today..................if they come to the party big time when we eventually announce where our new training headquarters will be located (if that ever happens). I hope that's what we also said to them when we were brought in to HQ only a month or 2 ago.
  17. Yep, and fail to comprehend the big problem in the real scheme of things..............how the [censored] did we end up 2nd last on the ladder?
  18. Doubt it. Looking at salary cap rules, in 2022 the cap limit will be $13.54m spread across a list. If only looking at the 40 spot main list that equates to $338,500 per player. If what ET is true, then we would only be able to afford to keep a list of just over 20 players (heck even at 500k we'd only be able to afford 27 players). Sure Frost provides something we genuinely lack, but his weaknesses (which are more often than not detrimental) should indicate his true worth to us in the scheme of managing our overall list.
