  1. Do you sip your beers Josh?
  2. Aren't you a cheery bloke SFebes!
  3. Funny what happens when there is no Ross Lyon about to make it dour.
  4. Umm Christian Salem says no.
  5. The bone crunching shepherd he laid in another video (whilst beautiful and perfectly legal under the rules of the AFL), would no doubt see him get rubbed out under Christian's rule.
  6. after 5 minutes we'd probably all be collapsed on the turf.
  7. According to the HUN we're considering bringing in Pickett @ 10 along with Jackson @ 3. Not exactly what many, if any, were thinking 2 weeks ago. However it turns out, i just hope JT gets it right.
  8. You're weary? i just read the [censored] thing
  9. Good thing i'm at work between the hours of 12 & 3. SEN will win the ratings if they give Derrwayne a mirror to look at though. His narcissism would no doubt create some absolute pearlers on the airwaves. Would be must listen radio for all the wrong reasons (though i'm sure he'd think it must-watch radio ?)
  10. And since when has our team done the basics well DS? Our player's all go up for the same ball with no-one staying down, i barely saw a shepherd laid all year, we had no one crumbing the packs. These basic intangibles are more intuitive and instinctive, rather than habituated. I doubt our forwards have the sense to play in front, given our delivery into the forward line was endemic of the long bomb.
  11. Which he'll need to do more often than not, given his kicking leaves a lot to be desired. It's just throw it on the boot stuff.
  12. Weightman is a purely a small forward, Stephens can play both the forward and back flanker roles, wing and possibly even a run through the middle.
  13. I've had a good hard look at myself.......................................and i like what i see. I'm a pretty good looking rooster.
  14. When it comes to the draft, Jay Clark has as much intel as the majority of posters on this board.
  15. I find that very hard to believe
  16. I doubt it, though i reckon he will turn out to be a better player than McGrath.
  17. I'm admittedly not the biggest of OMAC fans, but that is seriously poor form. The type of supporter who i'd be glad if they did not renew their membership.
  18. Not the worst idea to bring him in. Lord knows we need all the help we can get in the forward line.
  19. Good point DD. Nic Nat isn't known for his kicking ability either i guess.
  20. And then there's Young's kicking ability................................................ It's called football for a reason.......right? Or am i mistaken? Mahoney said during the members forum “Yes, we’re going to bring in players over time, but it’s not going to be massive changes. This list has been built over five to six years of going to the draft and adding players through the trade period and that is going to help us deliver to our ambitions. We think we’ve got enough talent to deliver what we want to as a footy club and that’s sustained success.” Young makes us a better team immediately and would be an asset with his kicking, whilst Jackson won't improve our team for a few years yet.
  21. That video at the 12 second mark of his kick has allayed some of my fears of him being without a decent right foot, it'd be better than half the list on their preferred sides (admittedly just the one kick for sample size).
  22. Agree FiTB. Bid on Green @ 3, that way it stops GWS from bringing in 2 quality players before our subsequent pick 8 (and thus one less top quality prospect for us to contemplate drafting). What's the worst that could happen? We pick up Green.....................oh no 2 Clayton Oliver's in our midfield. Yes please!
