66 ranking / supercoach points for Black... been averaging 110 this season... enough said... at the same time Dunn got 83 points himself... great game from Dunn... the best he's done at his hurting his opponent the other way while he's been tagging... the improvement is really exciting

given the crappy weather and the early start 23,000 is a pretty good turnout... compare it to 29,000 on Friday night, with a side on fire like Hawthorn, and 23,000 is pretty good... the most important thing is we would've made money and not had to write a cheque out to the MCC

i thought he had a stinker today... seemed to be rushed all the time, which resulted in bad decisions with the ball... got enough of it, but needs to use it better... don't drop him though, he'll learn and a couple of weeks up will do him good... as for my votes... 6. Green 5. Miller 4. Sylvia 3. C. Johnson 2. L. Dunn - another scalp in simon black. got a few touches but wasn't very effective. 1. C. Bruce plenty of others deserving today though, especially compared to other weeks... Wheatley, Whelan, Jamar, Bate, P. Johnson...

the most encouraging thing about his game was that he was a danger in front of the goals... in Brad's best games previously he's gotten a lot of the ball up the ground, marking on the lead... but today he was a lot closer to goal, providing a real forward target... good to see he's changed this part of his game...

played on Mitch Clark early... not sure, but may have gone to brennan later in the game, especially when Clark was injured...

i really think this will happen... the fact is Stef is the biggest out of our key defenders... he's got size on both warnock and Garland... he seems to be the best matchup...

Big call from Bails... but he doesn't seem scared to make the big calls... i'd never thought i'd see the day mark jamar would get a game ahead of jeff white

i'd like to see the bench read: White, Valenti, Jamar, Buckley/Bode keep the ruckman in so PJ can play forward again... Cale got plenty of the ball at Sandy, but his disposal was still down... lets give him a few more weeks to get it back up to scratch... Not really fussed if either buckley or bode play...

i've always read them, but with a grain of salt... but he was pretty blunt in this report... maybe he was still in a bad mood after the results on the weekend...

i thought about him... but i haven't seen him take enough set shot goals to put his name down...

a lot of you obviously don't want to win a flag... brad green is not a good set shot for goal anymore... he misses lots of set shots... look at the collingwood game... missed a couple of easy shots at goal... just because the commentators say he's a good set shot for goal doesn't mean he is... you've all watched us play footy every week, surely you've worked it out for yourself by now...

don't ask me why but green's kicking for goal is over rated... he was great when he came to the club, and developed a reputation as a great shot for goal, but since then his kicking for goal has only been average... yet commentators always comment on what a great kick for goal he is, and are completely surprised when he misses... does get a little frustrating... i'd go with either Robbo, or maybe Brock... he's doesn't take many, but seems a pretty solid shot for goal...

it wouldn't shatter his confidence if he got a bath... even the best backman in the league get dated by J. Brown... stef would see it as a challenge, if he keeps him quiet, then he's beaten one of the best forwards in the leage... if brown kicks a bag, well then he just joins the long list of defenders who he's given a bath... it wouldn't ruin his confidence at all...

i remember a couple of years ago i was at a club function... youth forum or something... anyhow, one of the directors was telling a story how he was saying how he liked it when melbourne won, because every time melbourne won a match, Bev O'Connor would give him a kiss... our Irish rookie listed player (Nick Walsh?) quickly responded "What do you get when we win the grand final?"

to be honest, in a few years Cale could be kicking 5 or 6 and getting 33 touches himself in the one game!
