True, but it's hard to be outstanding as a full back/centre half back. If he's showing signs that he'd be capable to handle his opponents, then give him a run with the Demons and see how he goes.

i agree, i'd been calling for him to be dropped for most of the year... but the last two games he's shown something... his hands have been much better, used the ball better and has gone hard at the contest...

good to hear Tmac had a good game... a lot of adelaide people talked him quite a bit, seemed to think he would become a good player for us...

would be great to have, but simply too old... trading for brown would be a half measure... might get us to the finals, but will we be ready for a grand final tilt while he's still around playing his best footy? i wouldn't think so...

beating brisbane is a lot simpler than what people have written here... we simply need to play 4 quarters... if we can play 4 quarters, not 2 or 2 and a half then we're a massive chance... we can't afford to give away a start like the one on sunday... if we're competitive for the entire game, then we won't be far off the mark...

that seems about right... if he gets the size about him, that's an if, we can then look at him playing as a key forward... would be great for the club if he develops in that direction...

we were definately better in this department today... CJ looks good at taking the kick-ins... he makes good decisions, and doesn't hesitate... not afraid to play on to himself either... Wheatley has been poor of late. He is good at pinpointing a pass over 55-60 metres, but is a little indecisive when taking the kick. Occasionally the long bomb to the middle works, but this is clearly not a solution. Wheels had always been pretty solid kicking in from Full Back, would like to see him do it too whilst he's in the team.

as i wrote in the votes thread too, Dunn has always been a forward... i believe he played most of his junior footy there... it would be totally different feeling for him now that he's playing all over the ground... he wouldn't be used to the concept of backing into a pack, or being the 3rd man up as he's always been a lead up forward... an aspect of his game he needs to work on... should we drop him? no way... apart from this he still played a great game... the only way he's gonna fix this is at afl level... vfl level is a drop of intensity, which won't teach him anything... he needs to be prepared to go in at the top level... if it continues to happen then you look at sending him to sandy, however it's only happened twice in the one game so far... lets see what happens over the next few games...

channel 10 game, commetti calls for 7... it was actually michael voss who said it... i don't think they're tanking, i just think they're really bad... teams may tank when it gets closer to the end of the season and it's the difference between a priority pick, but they won't tank with the season only half over... we saw mid way through last year when the eagles had cousins out, judd was missing injured that they struggled... i think the bombers beat them, and they were horrible last season... this just shows how important those key midfield players were to the eagles... as for the WCE supporters, they're used to success and nothing else... no surprise many of them left when they were on the end of an absolute hiding...

pretty good assessment of his game there today... i think for Lynden it is another thing he will learn... he has spent most of his footballing life playing as a forward, a leading forward... backing back into contests and things like that is something he won't be used to... the coaches will identify this and get him to work on it... but a very impressive game from Dunn today...

well i think today definately was his best game for the club... finally showing what i've always seen in him... giving us that run and drive off half back...

much better in the 2nd quarter... not as efficient going forward, but bate still providing a target... should have a couple more on the board, fudged some easy chances... chris johnson good down back that quarter? is he still playing on o'keefe? if he is you'd say he's winning that matchup for us at the moment... dunn probably breaking even with goodes at this stage too...

umpiring is bad, we are worse, sydney very impressive... bate giving us a forward target, has been okay... dunn doing a reasonable job on goodes thus far...
