could be a part of his development... make him be accountable, given his athleticism he could play down back... i think it could be what John needs, some time in another position, where he can learn how to get his hands on the footy...

it was a 3 year deal... but only the final year would be when the team was playing in the AFL... the first year the team would be in the TAC cup, the 2nd year would be in the QFL or VFL... Vossy wanted a longer contract at AFL level before he would accept the deal... i would've liked us to make a play for Vossy... obviously we have more pressing matters on our plate at the moment... i'd really like us to chase Todd Viney for next season... Jimmy is bringing lots of demons back to the club, it'd be great if Todd took over our midfield...

don't be disappointed... it's been a pattern all season when the younger blokes have been dropped they've spent a few weeks down at sandy before coming back... And when they have returned to the side, they do seem to be much better for the run in the 2's... Chip played for Sandy the last 2 weeks, not doing a whole lot the first week, then having a good game last Sunday... I think Bails will give him a couple more weeks down there to continue to work on his game before he's brought back up... Further, Bell will match up better on the Bulldogs smaller forward line than Chip would...

it seems no one wants White, Carroll or Bode to play

i read somewhere that we did a similar thing with Junior... He could've got up for the Brisbane game, but he had some niggles so the club decided to give him a week off before the break to get his body right...

i think dean bailey would back himself in to teach Naitanui how to play footy and make him the best player in the league... given what he's done with our list this year, who would bet against him?

he's had around 15 shots at goal for sandy in the last 2 weeks... kicked 4 on the weekend on a day that was from all reports an extremely difficult day for key forwards... not only that, but his game 2 weeks ago included 11 one %ers, 6 tackles amongst 13 marks... not sure how he fared in these areas on the weekend, but i think these performances warrant a call up... he's obviously in form, and Bailey said he will reward form... so lets bring him in...

even if he does impress he'll be gone at the end of the year... we need to make room on our list for Aussie, Valenti, 1st rd pick, 2nd rd pick, 3rd rd pick, 4th rd pick, PSD pick and possibly a 1st rd priority pick. That's at least 7 or 8 players who need to make way. Yze will have to be one of them. The only players who will be gone before him are David Neitz, Isaac Weetra and Ben Holland.

Juice and Petterd have only just come up from the 2's. We don't need another tall defender. Bell and White are the only other real options.

pretty much sums it up... Valents has shown in his other 2 games that he has the ability to use the ball well at AFL level... seemed composed and made good decisions... unfortunately he didn't today... was a pretty intense game and he seemed quite rushed, but he will improve in this area... Martin has a heap of potential and will be a good MFC player. Jace just doesn't seem to be up to it unfortunately. I hope I'm wrong, but I've felt the same way pretty much since i've seen him play. The only reasonable game he did play was the tank match last year, and we saw how low intensity that match was, wasn't a true indication of AFL footy, more like a practice match.

I'm sure you all noticed today the demon mascot was following Jim Stynes around at the footy today. He was by his side at the President's lunch. Walked around the G with him when he was meeting supporters. And Jimmy confirmed that the Demon will be returning to the club logo next season, we will be the Demons once again!
