  1. For me it is simple. End of 2008: Out: White, Jamar In: Naita, Warnock
  2. PJ to the square, Miller to push further up the ground and not kick a goal as he'll be forced upfield. Man it pisses me off when they do that to him, HE CAN KICK GOALS FFS! Valenti should be playing, WHY IS BODE THERE?
  3. I'm going to the July 9 WA v Metro match at the Dome, he will be playing in that bar injury so I'll be able to see how he goes. Rich, Hurley and Watts should all be playing in this game as well.
  4. Sorry YM but Hawkins >>> Any KPP prospect we have. If you think he can't get off the ground watch Round 1 against Port again.
  5. I am happy to donate as much as I can to the club, and I sincerely hope the club is marketed well enough to gather more supporters.
  6. Very happy with him this year. I can honestly say I've never rubbished his kicking for goal, just with Robbo and Neita previously it was hard for him to push forward as there was no room. Played very well I thought on the weekend and there is only more to come from Brad.
  7. Is it true under the current rules that if we only win one more game for the season (Which means we win 7 games in 2 years) we will get a priority pick before round 1 of the draft, in essence giving us picks 1 and 2?
  8. Don't be silly. He was in good form before this injury and will be only 25 next season so he isn't THAT old. His work in packs this year had been top notch.
  9. Frawley Carroll and Jamar my emergencies. For the love of God Bails I know you're taking the [censored] having Frawley at CHF but don't even CONSIDER playing him up forward.
  10. No way. Overrated and injury prone. We have enough injury prone players as it is.
  11. ROFL at how the video is getting mauled in the comments after YM posted it here.
  12. Prismall? Yes. He has very good skills and would fit in nicely. Lonergan? No. Decent player but nothing special. And whoever said we should go after Hawkins is a fool. We would have to give up the no.1 pick, and they wouldn't trade a F/S selection anyway as he has massive potential.
  13. Bruce is actually an Adelaide supporter (But he loves Essendon). Commetti IIRC doesn't follow an AFL club, I think he follows a club in the WAFL.
  14. Strangely confident this week. If Bode plays I'll be a very angry man. CJ I don't rate but he's shown good form in the VFL and that should always be rewarded.
  15. Morton will not be a CHF. I'm not sure about Naitanui. I mean he obviously has great athletic potential, but it is a potential risk and I'd rather a gun KPP over a gun ruck. I'll trust the club to make the right choice with whatever pick we have, but I'd kill for a quality KPP.
  16. If I didn't work Saturdays I'd say Friday night followed by Saturday afternoon, but Sundays are the best for me as I can get to every game. Will be quitting my job soon (Hopefully) though so Saturday afternoon games will be back on .
  17. Bartram - poor but young Bate - could be star Bell - where'd you go? Bruce - good and bad Buckley - shows some dash Davey - very good performance Frawley - barely touched it Garland - what the [censored] Green - played captains game Holland - did quite well Jamar - dropped easy marks Johnson - very quiet game Jones - future MFC star McDonald - rioli got lucky McLean - ****ing brilliant player Miller - a reasonable game Moloney - will keep improving Morton - a bit raw Robertson - did his bit Warnock - better than usual Valenti - next brock mclean Wonaeamirri - love his celebrations
  18. Franklin tackling Wonna who didn't even have the ball in the last quarter. WTF?
  19. With -40 inside 50s it would have been pretty hard I assume. I didn't see the game either, I know he kicked at least one though.
  20. Disappointing YM. You say you bleed red and blue yet you don't want us to win games. Disgraceful.
  21. Never reached the heights of 2000 at Freo. Sad end, but IMO it is no more than he deserves.
  22. To be fair maybe the guy has been busy, but please please please get this up soon.
  23. What a stupid thread. White has been a great servant for us but is now well past his prime. If we had some young rucks that could actually win the hitouts and have reasonable impact around the ground White probably would be our 2nd ruck or have retired. We don't have that though so we've been forced to keep him. It is poor form to slag off a player who at his best dominated the ruck when he is in the twilight of his career. This year you would think would be his last.
  24. Before I start off, I've tipped Geelong this week. I never tip us as I believe if we do win, I won't give a stuff about getting the tip wrong, but if we lose, at least I don't fall prey to being bias in my tips. Anyway, stranger things have happened in sport. Take Round 3, 2006. The Hawks were 1-1 and travelled down to Kardinia Park to take on the Cats, who had annilihated Brisbane and the Roos in their first two rounds. The Hawks had been written off and it was meant to be an easy win for the Cats. Hawthorn however had different ideas. They burst out of the blocks in the 1st half and eventually won the game by about 9 goals. Or when Fremantle travelled to Geelong in 2005, having never won there before. Again they burst out of the blocks (Farmer kicking 4 for the match IIRC) and put Geelong under pressure to eventually win by 9 points. There's also Round 20, 2005. A certain team in red and blue who had lost 7 games on the trot came up against a Cats outfit who was starting to gain serious momentum. The visitors had not won at Kardinia since 1989. The Cats were up by 30+ points at one point in the 2nd quarter had that lead eroded which resulted in a tumultous final term where the visitors won by a solitary point. Or perhaps look to the English Premier League, season 2006/2007. West Ham (My club) had to win 7 out of their last 9 games to avoid relegation. Somehow, they did that and more. One particular game against Arsenal at Highbury (Arsenal's home ground at the time) West Ham were dominated in general play but snatched a goal in injury time in the 1st half and went on to win 1-0. But even that didn't compare to the last game of the season (Which we had to win to avoid relegation) where we travelled to Old Trafford, the home of the champions Manchester United. West Ham actually held their own and again won 1-0 to ensure they would play in the Premiership next season. I'm not saying we'll win, I'm just saying give us a chance. Stranger things have happened in sport....
