  1. I don't think they'll trade TJ unless we got a ripper of a deal, I think Bailey will want to see what he can do with him.
  2. Who are they? I believe Beamer is one but not 100% on that, could anyone tell me?
  3. It doesn't matter how Chelsea won, they still have the wins on the board. On paper and at their best Chelsea are the better team. They will win the Premiership, with the Hammers coming a close 2nd .
  4. Ease up mate, I wouldn't make predictions like that just yet. I love Jonesy but there are times when he needs to give the handball rather than take on the second or third tackler. If he has no option I don't mind him banging it in either but he'll learn some composure, look at Belly, cool as they come compared to last year when he regularly shat himself when he got the ball.
  5. Chelsea this year - 2 wins and a draw Scum U - 2 draws and a loss And before you say Man U have injuries so do Chelsea.
  6. Dude, at full strength Chelsea > Man U. Chelsea haven't even got their full side out there and they're still winning with ease.
  7. Give them a full preseason and Sylvia and Beamer come on down.
  8. Ironic that our current no.13 is also similar in terms of being an enigma. He once kicked 8.8 against Sydney. That's ridiculous. 8.8. At least 16 shots at goal. WTF
  9. Dunny will have to play midfield for the majority of the game because the forwardline is already very tall.
  10. None of those midfielders you mentioned could play forward anywhere near as well as Sylvia. Injury free Colin will dominate.
  11. It had better be a walk up start because I won't get to the ground till about 7:40.
  12. He has an ominous record when it comes to them. 2005 against the Cats - It was his 250th game and he kicked 5 that night, including his 500th goal 2006 against the Hawks - Broke the club goalkicking record and crapped all over a pitiful Hawks defence with a lazy 6 2006 against the Saints - It was either the MFC games record or games as captain record he broke IIRC and he booted 8 in a dominant display against the Saints His 300th this week against the Pies, are we due for another Neita show?
  13. He had a fantastic patch of form mid year (Has kicked 20+ goals IIRC) but has dropped off a lot since the Dogs played Geelong. His disposal can be crap at times, but he'll be a star for the Dogs eventually. Remember, it's his 4th year, and he's achieved more than anyone from the 2003 draft so far (Yes he has done more than Brock due to Brock's injuries), Gary Ablett Jnr never started playing consistently till this year and it's his 6th season in the AFL. Sylvia will still be better though.
  14. He doesn't quite have the pace that Foley has, but he makes up for it in strength, and Jones can run all day now. Foley's disposal is gradually improving, I hope Jones can do the same thing, because I love him as a player but his kicking can be poor. It's great though to see how arrogant Jones is at times when he tries to break about four tackles, yes it can be costly but I love watching him take them on.
  15. Of course I'd take the wins. Ideally I want Carlton to win before the season is out so they can miss out on the PP (I don't care where they finish) but I don't want that win against us, so I hope they knock over Essendon. After last night, we clearly aren't tanking, which I have some small satisfaction in saying.
  16. I'm his biggest fan and I can be bias at times, but really why is he playing? He clearly isn't 100% and why not let guys like Bode play out the year and rest Beamer until next year? He is of no real use in this state, he can't run out a game, his kicking is down and his pace is down (He isn't naturally super quick but has reasonable pace, but with OP he is caught easily). I also agree he should lose a bit of muscle to help his fitness and he'll be slightly quicker as well.
  17. If Travis was consistent the calls to trade him would have never existed. I love watching him when on song, but on the whole he still plays below what he could really do. Under a new coach, and with McLean, Jones, Sylvia, Moloney, Bruce and Green all fit and taking the oppositions attention away from solely tagging him, we may see the best of him, and if we do he could easily win the Brownlow. You just watch how evasive he is, he isn't super strong or quick, he just has incredible vision and the best footskills in the team and I'd say the best field kick in the AFL for accuracy.
  18. Fergy is 26, still hasn't put on much muscle really and he lacks pace. I'd keep him for depth only.
  19. There would be no better option for us. Marketing, great coach on match day, doesn't take crap from players, I can't wait if we get him.
  20. I think he'll come back through Wili and play Round 21, so he won't play against us.
  21. So you're writing off Moloney who has only ever done one full preseason in his AFL career and is in his 5th season, and is obviously carrying an injury and still playing reasonably well at probably about 80% (And Gary Ablet Jnr is in his 6th this year and only now is performing consistently well), and a 2nd year player in Jones? You're an idiot.
  22. Pretty hard when you're not fit and playing in currently the equal worst team in the comp.
  23. It would be nice if players actually stood up for each other (Ironically the young players are the ones in the side who mainly do in Jones, Beamer, Brock and Col) but honestly I couldn't really care less what Belly did as long as he goes when it is his turn to go. And BrownlowBruce, please stop condoning what Davey did, I love Flash but he seriously needs to stop worrying about his tagger and doing the best he can going hard at the BALL. Getting reported like that is just stupid.
  24. Gotta disagree with you Jarka, you're only basing Gibbs on his no.1 pick status and what he achieved in lower leagues, he hasn't shown enough at AFL level yet to have judgements placed on him on whether he'll be good or not. Murphy has more natural ability than Brock (Though it's like comparing Hird to Ricciuto) but Sylvia has more natural ability than any player on our list and dare I say bar Fev more than any on Carltons. And I'd have our list over Carltons any day of the week. I see Sheahan mentioned future A grade players for Carlton the other day and had Betts as one . FYI I wouldn't have Flash as an A grade player, and he is far, far better than Betts.
  25. Delist. I'd also delist/trade Ward, Brown, Pickett, Holland, Neville, Jamar and Ferguson. We need a cleanout of those proportions if we are to go anywhere.
