Currently renewing my membership online, I was wondering can I change the type of membership I want over the internet? I currently have a Red and Blue Concession 11 membership and would like to upgrade it to the one that also includes 6 away games for the season.

Agree wholeheartedly. Yze's career will go down the toilet extremely quickly unless Bailey puts him forward, which I'm not sure he'll do at the start of this season.

If it was any other player I'd think it is silly but wouldn't berate him for it, but with Brocks recent history, it is very disappointing from him and I'd back the club if they want to suspend him for a few games as well, but I doubt that'll happen.

Come back to me when we lose a game that matters. If we're 0-5 in the real season I'll join the doomsayers, but I'm not going to write us off after not winning any preseason matches. I still think we'll finish just out of the 8.

Not so sure about Commetti, but the others are Melbourne supporters. Brad Hodge is definitely a Melbourne supporter, and I'm fairly sure Michael Klinger is as well. I also think Stan Alves is a Melbourne supporter at heart, he was very critical of us last year but I felt it was because it was hurting him more than most to see the club in the position it was in.

It is simple really. HF: Bate Newton Sylvia FF: Davey Neitz Robbo That's a pretty bloody good forwardline when you think about it.

I'd have him in the FP. If he is in form in that position I'd keep him there over Maric and the other kids. Unless we're having another poor year I believe in playing the best team possible, and not dropping older guys simply to play younger guys. He can still be a very good small forward if he is fit and pulls his finger out and chases, tackles and doesn't always soccer it off the ground etc. He is too slow for midfield or the backline now.

Congratulations Stan. I think Stan makes good points on the club. He obviously is a bit harder on us so he doesn't seem bias towards us, much like Mark McLure (sp?) and Carlton.

Only going on what I was told by someone who saw the game mate, did you see it? That's because everyone has a different opinion. I would gamble on him with a late pick if I was a recruiter, which is the area of the draft Putt would end up in if he does get drafted.

Have you seen him play? Has talent, killed Kreuzer in the hitouts in the semi final and kicked 5 in a match earlier in the year. EDIT - I don't know who the Cannons first ruck was sorry Putt's got ability but he'd take time to develop. He's got more talent than Neaves ever had, I can tell you now. PS I ain't bias because I don't know him personally, but have heard through a friend of a friend.

I live up in the country and have heard strong words that we're very interested in Dean Putt, the Calder Cannons second ruckman who played a lot of the year on the HFF and killed Kreuzer in the semi final. No, this is not [censored], his family have said we're among a few clubs that have been talking to him heavily, I would think we'd pick him up with our 3rd or 4th round pick, thoughts?

I like the move, I think the idea to promote ourselves in China is a great move and I don't really care we're losing the 'Demon' tag.

Why would we want him? He's like a slightly lesser version of Robbo. Seriously I would be very [censored] off if we got him, I don't see the point when we could pick up a kid who will still be around when we're challenging for the flag. The Sampi move I like because he's only 23/24, but Welsh? No, we don't need him.

To be honest I have no problem with him training with us. In fact I think it is a very good move. Bailey won't take crap from him, he'll make Sampi show he wants to play AFL footy again and if he does want to, he's got a lot of talent and would be a very nice addition to the side. He's not a defender though, I don't know where these people are getting that from. He's a small forward akin to Flash, with slightly less pace but IMO more overall natural ability, and I think Flash is a very talented player. On the Davey role model thing, let's hope he doesn't show Sampi how to deal with the opposition when you lose your temper.

I don't mean to sound heartless, but I hope they go. It lessens the pressure a lot on us, and I'll always have my clubs welfare over any others.

I hope they lock Rivers in the gym and throw away the key. Gee Meesen's a big lad. Did Beamer and/or Yze train? Great work guys, keep it up. I'm stoked about the cricket season, but I'm already missing footy .
