  1. To be honest I think I might have got one. I think its pretty poor by the club, I pay for the concession 11 home game membership whereas my brother who is 6 has a childrens Bulldogs membership and he's received 4-5 magazines this year alone.
  2. McLean in 2009. He's not ready for it next year.
  3. I agree with those who say last year we had a great draw, we certainly did, we just weren't good enough to take advantage of it. 10 games on FTA, I'm definitely getting Fox, and since I've just finished school I'll be going to a lot more footy.
  4. Very smart player, great mobility and decent height (Hopefully he can put on more weight and not be a Fergy who I swear was allergic to the gym) and also has good skills. Could play anywhere, will end up being a similar player to Embley from WCE IMO, and I'd be stoked if he's just as good.
  5. I actually think WCE won't take Cotchin and get Palmer instead, leaving us Cotchin, and hopefully Rance is still there at Pick 14.
  6. 1. Davey forward all game - There is no point playing him up the ground, he's our only natural crumber (Yze can crumb as well but whose to say he'll even be in Bailey's best 22) 2. Dunn midfield and occasionally up forward - Very smart, tall, mobile and has good skills. I actually think Dunny could be a fantastic onballer (He's better than just a tagger) 3. Make Green a forward and Sylvia a midfielder - Green isn't a natural midfielder IMO, he's alright sweeping off half-back but is a very good lead, mark and kick up forward, and Sylvia has the size, speed and skills to dominate in the middle 4. Play Newton at CHF and Bate on the HFF - Bate is too small for CHF, Newton has the mobility to play either FF/CHF but I reckon he could be a great CHF, and he could still move to FF when Neita retires. Bate would be very dangerous as that other option we have up forward
  7. It would be nice to play Brissy in Melbourne for once, but I doubt it when I think they haven't had a 'home' game against us for years. So with that, the Manuka game, I'm guessing we play the other four interstate teams away as well (I'd say we'll play Freo twice again, hey aren't we due for a game against WCE at the G?).
  8. I like him on half back, great mark and kick, good reader of the play so can chop off attacks and courageous. I think with TJ gone he'll play that attacking half-back role.
  9. Please don't tell me you think our defence is capable of winning a flag in the shape it is in ATM BB. A defence wins you a flag. Name a team with a weak defence who won one.
  10. 2008 is a big year for Sylvia. 2008 will be his 5th season, and you would expect him to start playing some consistent footy. OP has really hurt him and I'm a huge Sylvia fan but I can understand why some people have thought he is lazy. I think Bailey will really work on him over the preseason and hopefully we see more of him in the middle because as good as he can be up forward his true strength is in the middle.
  11. I don't know much, but what I do know is next year is the last year of his current contract. Should he have another injury-plagued year, I would think the club would definitely look at trading him (Even though he is my favourite player and has been since he came to the club). When fully fit and given he's still relatively young so has improvement left I think he could be a very good player for us, but I just hope he can get over OP. I would hope he's training before Christmas and gets a full preseason in, because mark my words if he does he'll be a very, very good player for us.
  12. To be honest we got a pretty good draw this year, we were just too [censored] to take advantage of all the MCG games we had early in the year.
  13. Has anyone got a link to Walls' article they could put up about us?
  14. Don't want Scott Selwood, he's another hardnut HBF/midfield type that we already have plenty of.
  15. These players would have to agree to nominate and realise they could be picked up earlier, and they would also have to accept normal draftee wages (60,000 a year I think on a two year deal).
  16. He's soft. I don't want Reilly. In a supposed weak draft Pick 10 + Reilly for our most important defender? Hell no. Rivers will be a star.
  17. The problem is DD36 is Rhyce isn't a very good player. Pick 14 + Nathan Brown for Trapper anyone?
  18. The CHF idea isn't a bad one actually, certainly something I'd try out during the NAB Cup if I was Bailey. Bate won't be big enough to play CHF but having Newton at least gives us flexibility in the future as I am confident he could play either CHF or FF and star.
  19. Ski and snow jibes I can take, but this is poor journalism and a cheap shot at the club. Man that pisses me off. YM, please post a reply if you get one.
  20. I'd really like that trade sylvinator if it went through, we aren't giving up half the team for Judd and we get IMO a young ruckman with a lot of potential in Meesen.
  21. Carn Power. Only teams I hate more than the Cats are Essendon, the filth and Carlton.
  22. Brad Green should skipper for 2-3 years then let Brock take over.
