The reality is we are a couple of years away from dmaging the top of the ladder any. I dont disliek Green as a player...but thats what he is..a player.. he has X value. Hes not getting younger. he will be near on 30 when we get real form. His book value wil be negligible by then Clever teams realise assetts when the time is ripe. Whilst I appreciate the idea of the event.. I find it apallingly needlessly elitist.. I think in the wash up it will have been viewed as counterproductive. It effectively alienates the average punter. Have no doubt they wil struggle to fill at that price. Apparently already there are 'deals' to even get the heroes themselves to attend. At maybe 150-200 I might have thought about it.. at 500 they can go jump to be frank !!

Im thinking Sylvinator is one of the few to have a balanced interpretation of what is going to happen. So many seem like headless chooks. Our opportunity really only exists this year. We wil spoon it on current viewings.. such is life. .and hopefully we do.. Getting first dibs THIS year is very very important. Going forward..2009 as far as onfiled success ought to be a very different kettle of fish with talent solidifying through experience etc. we ought to start the climb back up. I dont see us with any opportunity to have taken a priority pick anyway. This all becomes a false argument then. I was given to understand that the footy dept is going to Casey this summer and likely to remain until al lfacilities at teh Bubbledome are ready. Summer training to continue for forseeable future at Casey.with the bulk of winter training on Goschs (after the filth vacate for rebuilt olympic precint ) I remember somewhere it was mentioned that the Dees would also avail themselves of Casey during seasons proper also..just not as main location. Its ( from my readings ) the genuine notion of the club ( MFC ) to develop a relationship at CF. ..just not fulltime.. well as of this writing anyways..lol

There are 1000's of reasons some may not choose to attend a game....one of which is having a life with more in it than just football..another is family..there is work.. there are a myriad of other reasons but please by all means play out your little heartfelt tanty !! There is a chasm between winning the odd game...and setting up a situation where continued success can be garnered and built upon and eventually a premiership got. I seriously have a cackle when folks talk of playing to our strenghts.. !! what exactly are these strengths?? ..the same ones that have lead to SO much succes in the past ?? If so then folks you're deluding yourselves. These so called strengths are phantoms interpreted by those impatient to see success. We are not a team chock full of talent...yet !! we have some good players and some players with potential. The best days of some of our reputed older players are in the main now history. This is not a "renovators delight " its a D9 job.. All Dean is doing is trying to use what ever salvaable materials ( players) are avalible and rebuilding utilising them...not building around them. Much work is still left to do. There is no rationale in attempting to play to a handful of players ... it makes no sense

carefull...warning folks... LOGIC present !! This is very much about confidence. It natural for peoplel to fall back into old practices when put under the pump...especially if youve not had the ability to experience success yet with the new plan.

Bailey..for those who just dont get it.. has allowed the pretenders to hang themselves. This season isnt about winnng any games really...never was. It was about wormign out who was worth keeping..and the laying of foundations for the way forward. There will be many more losses... but gradually some players will get it together. They will be added to for next year. Not much else CAN happen this year as the personnel simply either arent there yet..or havent got enough miles in their legs. Why are people expecting any real susccess this year.. and getting all upset that its not happening...its never been a realistic outcome for 08
