Without doubt we have our problems..shock ..horror..isnt that NEWS !! we know this.. so does the AFL. Paul Mac knows it too and he understands he inherited a semi basket case that had a dubious helmsman in the past !! The AFL knows this and is happy to have someone more realistic like PM in charge. We ARE doings things. Its not going to happen overight but changes and progress are afoot !! These will take a little time to permeate their way through to being seen. Full credit to Poo &Wee land for getting its act together. We're endeavouring to do the same. It serves no purpose whatso ever for bucket mouth Kennet to spout off. Any which way it seems we will go from having everyones hand-me-downs in respect of training facilites to TWO brand new Training facilities !! Cant be too bad

It gets better doesnt it !! ) lol. Was told a little 'chinese whisper ' like story a coupe of weeks ago... but as it was only that just kept to self. Seems someone was pretty close to it. Figures are still a little rubery til signed off on. I was given the impression that the AFL was coming to the party more.. maybe they will..sort of unofficially through one of those hard to account special funding programs *wink*. The Dees are keen to get a sniff of some land( realisable ) . This is simply to give it an assett. You can borrow against assetts and we have bugger all at present. This is a sensible approach for mine. The foot trafic and exposure a sports complex like this will get is terrific.. A footy team involved is going to get some pretty good flow on in the wash up !! Will have to wait to see if rest of the gossip comes through ..... ( not much..just a bit more ) Sponsorshp for 2009 ought to be interesting .........

My understanding is the Dees arent buying any land.!! thats the whole point !! Some really need to read before jumping in !! lol. As part of the deal to bring the Dees to Casey the Council will "provide' land to the value of approx 600g to the new development( possibly more) . MFC and the AFL will pay to develop it. This ,I must confess is not the full deal either but is as much as anyones agreed in principal to and put into the public domain . More , no doubt will come out when ink is put to paper

As a hypothetical.. Should we move out there and link up with the Scorpions. ( a logical move for mine ) and do the clever ..get out in the schools and communities etc ..whillst still having a foot back in the city is a clever thing. I see no need to be all of one thong or the other just take what works from both. The Toiges have already lined up the northern suburbs growth areas as a pathway to future members, we ought to be the ones lining up the South Estern growth areas. First in..best dressed. There is a hell of a lot of upside to this if handled well. Im sure ( wel confident ) that people will take to us. with some very likable and affable young players coming through...they can be our pinup players for the new kids coming into the schools. Think about it..when did most of us decide our allegiances ?? in Primary School !!

Well to be honest Im happy enough to moth ball Aussie . It wont really do him any harm. Might even allow him to consolidate. Neeta can come back...and play his Melba finales. Ill be frank..whilst im happy for us to play more competively...I am rather keen to snare the best available pick at end of year. If that means putting Aussie back on the shelf later til next yer..So be it. ..and I like the guy !!
