The 2019 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
You can’t trade Oliver. I do believe every player is tradeable for the right price. It’s just no club can afford him / offer a realistic trade. Viney is father son that addressed leadership issues from the moment he arrived and drives standards across the club. He is feared by opposition when his body holds up. Brayshaw is a favourite of mine and I think his kicking misfortune is more to do with what is ahead of him ie. our structures than his poor use. Of the 3 only Brayshaw could be traded and that is doubtful with his concussion issues meaning we wouldn’t get what a player with his output deserves. One thing often neglected in these threads is the lack of players wanting to leave MELBOURNE. We wanted Hogan out and had to push Watts out kicking and squealing. List management has many facets but keeping key personal is vitally important if not the most important factor. Particularly, in the age of free agency where you can lose or gain serious talent for nothing but salary cap space.

Levi Casboult
I’d do it just for Goodies press conferences. We’d “transition” from not being able to connect to not being able to convert.

Petracca on the Move?
I’ve heard bulldogs are in to him and have offered him more midfield time. Not sure how credible.

Welcome to Demonland - Alan Richardson
Any chance of getting a Clarkson clone?
-
Lewis Whacks Playing Group
I heard Max say on MMM he personally turned up in tip-top shape and had a Stella preseason BUT he is part of the leadership group and needs to make sure he takes another 40 blokes with him. He’ll be focused on that this time around.

Martin Flanagan Talks Dees on SEN (30/7)
I hope he does become our Selwood.

Roosy: "Deplorable" Dees have "no recognisable brand"
I blame Daniher. Up and down every year for injury factors set us up for this. The same demonland posters back then would have been complaining about the coaching rather than acknowledging the injuries we had to key players on our list. it’s funny how we bounced back every second year with the same coach when we got our good players on the park.

5 stages of grief
I hope it is if the yo-yo goes high enough.

5 stages of grief
There is reason for denial there is no reason to call fellow demonlanders turd polishers.

New game plan
Genuinely asking in case I was missing something. We really need to get an assistant who has had a good stint under Clarkson.
-
New game plan
Do we have anyone on our coaching panel that has coached under Clarkson?

My 3 word player analysis V West Coast
Female umpire - love the attention

Pruess...VFL is his spot
Pruess has everything that Weideman doesn’t and vice versa. Weid is great below the knees, Pruess can take a pack mark. Pruess plays like Tarzan.

Efficiency in F50
So our entire forward line.

Liam Jurrah 2019
If we wern’t such a hopeless club we wouldn’t have drafted him. There is an old saying if my Aunty had balls she’d be my uncle.

Injury List - Season 2019
The lack of pre-season due to surgery and injury set us back. The injuries during the year killed us. We will never know but we may have been able to deal with one but we and no other team could have a good year with both. To compare other teams injury list without including pre-season is ignorant.

Feelings v Reason
After watching the Adam Goodes documentary on channel 10 last night I can’t help but see a massive divide between feelings and reason. The same leftist who always post on these boards will think the booing of Adam Goodes was racist. The posters of centre right will argue it is not. Why is that? For mine the booing of Goodes is clearly not racist because * other indigenous players are not booed * Goodes spent the majority of his career not being booed. It only changed after a number of his actions both on field and off. Hence his actions were booed not his race. For the lefties: * the vibe is racist because he is indigenous
