  1. You can’t trade Oliver. I do believe every player is tradeable for the right price. It’s just no club can afford him / offer a realistic trade. Viney is father son that addressed leadership issues from the moment he arrived and drives standards across the club. He is feared by opposition when his body holds up. Brayshaw is a favourite of mine and I think his kicking misfortune is more to do with what is ahead of him ie. our structures than his poor use. Of the 3 only Brayshaw could be traded and that is doubtful with his concussion issues meaning we wouldn’t get what a player with his output deserves. One thing often neglected in these threads is the lack of players wanting to leave MELBOURNE. We wanted Hogan out and had to push Watts out kicking and squealing. List management has many facets but keeping key personal is vitally important if not the most important factor. Particularly, in the age of free agency where you can lose or gain serious talent for nothing but salary cap space.
  2. I’d do it just for Goodies press conferences. We’d “transition” from not being able to connect to not being able to convert.
  3. I’ve heard bulldogs are in to him and have offered him more midfield time. Not sure how credible.
  4. I hope we lose. Richmond got disgraced in the final round by Sydney and went on to win a premiership the following year. Richmond sacked all the assistants and backed in Hardwick. Today is the beginning of an era.
  5. Any chance of getting a Clarkson clone?
  6. I heard Max say on MMM he personally turned up in tip-top shape and had a Stella preseason BUT he is part of the leadership group and needs to make sure he takes another 40 blokes with him. He’ll be focused on that this time around.
  7. Out: Gawn, Lever In: Pruess, Jordon
  8. I like the look of Tom Green he’s already out for 4 2 6 next season. He is the perfect fit.
  9. An assistant coach who has coached under Clarkson.
  10. In: May, Hore out: don’t care let’s beat Collingwood then rest everyone who has event a hint of a niggle for the rest of the season
  11. Neither are the umpires.
  12. I hope he does become our Selwood.
  13. I blame Daniher. Up and down every year for injury factors set us up for this. The same demonland posters back then would have been complaining about the coaching rather than acknowledging the injuries we had to key players on our list. it’s funny how we bounced back every second year with the same coach when we got our good players on the park.
  14. I hope it is if the yo-yo goes high enough.
  15. There is reason for denial there is no reason to call fellow demonlanders turd polishers.
  16. Genuinely asking in case I was missing something. We really need to get an assistant who has had a good stint under Clarkson.
  17. Do we have anyone on our coaching panel that has coached under Clarkson?
  18. Female umpire - love the attention
  19. Pruess has everything that Weideman doesn’t and vice versa. Weid is great below the knees, Pruess can take a pack mark. Pruess plays like Tarzan.
  20. So our entire forward line.
  21. If we wern’t such a hopeless club we wouldn’t have drafted him. There is an old saying if my Aunty had balls she’d be my uncle.
  22. The lack of pre-season due to surgery and injury set us back. The injuries during the year killed us. We will never know but we may have been able to deal with one but we and no other team could have a good year with both. To compare other teams injury list without including pre-season is ignorant.
  23. After watching the Adam Goodes documentary on channel 10 last night I can’t help but see a massive divide between feelings and reason. The same leftist who always post on these boards will think the booing of Adam Goodes was racist. The posters of centre right will argue it is not. Why is that? For mine the booing of Goodes is clearly not racist because * other indigenous players are not booed * Goodes spent the majority of his career not being booed. It only changed after a number of his actions both on field and off. Hence his actions were booed not his race. For the lefties: * the vibe is racist because he is indigenous
  24. Don’t forget the out on the full!
