Development the Key for Luke Jackson
That is my fear with Jackson, will no question be on West Coasts radar as a replacement for Nic Nat
-
Joe Daniher
Will be interesting to see the coin he has been offered. Would love the compensation to be end of first round pick, Essendon supporters will spew if they get pick 19 or 20 for him which will be pushed back into mid 20's after NGA/FS bidding. They will most likely get mid first round pick or after there first, might give bombers pick 6, 7(Carltons for Saad), and 8ish Daniher comp pick.

Viney Signs Until 2025
Don't get to hung up on the length of the contract, the way trading is these days a contract doesn't mean much. If a club or a players wants out and another club wants him the trade gets done. Glad to see him stay. It will make for an interesting trade week, I reckon if a club came knocking with the right deal for Brayshaw the club would entertain it. Would need to be a top 5 pick at least with something else kicked in like future second or third round.

Adam Saad
No it hasn't but last time they got caught for that the club still hasn't recovered

Jared Polec
North are in massive trouble, they will need to add a lot of Delisted Free agents to fill there list. The club could be heading to Tasmania the way they are going.

I just can't see how a club like Carlton can be luring players with big cash. The TPT hasn't been set, you would have to assume there is a clause that the amount agreed will be reduced in line with the AFL TPT reduction, if there isn't you can bust your salary cap pretty quickly.

Dees Reviewing Senior Footy Department Positions
This will be Pert's first seasons end Review at Melbourne, a fresh set of opinions with no real emotional link to anyone at the club. 2018/19 I agree we got it wrong, turned over some assistant coaches and the one we brought in seem to have little impact. Burgess was a win and upgrade, medical and conditioning team have performed well our injury list was short all season and we ran out games, something that would have been identified in the 2019 review. The big question is Mahoney, from what we were told Jackson rated him to step up to take his role, the board went Pert. He has overseen an under performing Football Team for a number of years, basically he has been the only constant in the club.

Dees Reviewing Senior Footy Department Positions
We need an expectation that we are a top 4 side or working towards this, just scraping into the finals isn't good enough. Any business or in this instance Football Club that doesn't continually review is doomed to fail. You need to make changes to make you better, getting it wrong is OK as long as your learn and adjust. Even Richmond will do a review of all personal at seasons end, they know they have to get better to stay at the top.

Dees Reviewing Senior Footy Department Positions
I don't see why this is a big deal, even on footy classified last night it was made out to be something not good for the club. Every club will do a review of all personal at the end of the season. You want to get better and you need to ensure to have the right people/structures in place to do this. If there are better people available for roles with in your club you get them. Some clubs will decide that they are happy with the current staff and direction, others like us that need to take the next step and improve. It is more important now as you need to reduce your soft cap spend, you want to review to make the right calls.

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I think he is one of those players that could easy slide to our pick, I think there is a number a similar mids in the draft. He has a big advantage that he has played senior WAFL football this season, I rate him higher than Jack Carroll. The other player that will be around same mark is Nik Cox, never seen him play but like 199cm key forward/back.

TRADES, DELIST, PROMOTE
Thanks, does you 2400 points include the discount they get, I think it's 30% or something like that
-
TRADES, DELIST, PROMOTE
They get the rumoured best young player in the competition and to me a massive missing key in their list. Worse case we don't get the pick swap 47/36, I would still be happy to move our pick 23 forward 11 spots for Preuss. I think we can still get a very good player at 12, not to say we won't at 23 but we will have more options at 12. Would love for us to get this pick somehow

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
I reckon more an Outside mid but is hard as nails so can go inside if needed. He has a bit of polish about him.
-
TRADES, DELIST, PROMOTE
Yep, but they get Preuss as well which I thing if you put that 600 points into a draft pick that would be around mid 3rd round about right value for Preuss

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
The other kid from WA I like that might be around at our current first pick is O'Driscoll from Perth, he played seniors this year and I watched him in the Semi's a few weeks back, looks like a good kick nice size.

Farewell Oscar McDonald
I think Oscar is a third defender, body to body he has always struggled, but playing as a third defender he is a good mark, reads to play well and kicks it OK. The issue is we like playing Lever as third defender and I think the club see Oscar behind Lever, Smith and Tomlinson. Throw Petty and if we keep Hore in the mix and our tall defenders look to have depth.

TRADES, DELIST, PROMOTE
Watching the finals over the weekend showed the importance of playing 2 specialised ruckman or a Forward/Ruck. The only side that didn't play 2 rucks was Western Bulldogs, Ryder and Marshall just rag dolled the Bulldogs ruck. To me the Bulldogs need Preuss and push English as the Forward/Ruck option. They have a strong midfield adding a competent Ruck will take them to the next level. I would offer Preuss & pick 23/47 for Dogs Pick 12 and 36. This would be a win for both clubs, Bulldogs don't need their first round pick, but need points to cover for their NGA player that Adelaide or North will bid for.

Great to see Rivers sign until 2023, this guy is a gun. Now for Jackson

2020 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Dogs can't, they are getting the player rumoured to be Number 1 pick, there first round pick is gone, that is why if we like a player around their pick find a way to get the Dogs first round pick they will be open to trade it out. Might cost us future first round

Farewell Oscar McDonald
Trade or delisted free agent, do he have any trade value

Trade Targets
Would like to know who had the idea to add weight to TMac, seems silly. Look at Hawkins and most key forwards clubs have been working to get weight off them to cover more ground, we went the opposite taking a guy that could cover ground to try and make him a big forward. If Tom can get moving he is an elite mark and set shot, but he is at his best running and jumping at the football not body on body. 19/20 can't jump or turn.

Jack Viney Restricted Free Agent
The big issue at the moment is club don't know what the TPP will be in 2021 and the list size. No idea how clubs are approaching players from other clubs why this is a great unknown.
-
Finlay Macrae
Do a pick swap with the Bulldogs, they will lose their first round pick as someone will bid early on their kid from NGA and all they need is points to cover, might cost us future first round pick. If we really want a player that will be around mid first round that is the pick we go after, dogs don't need it. Same as Sydney's second round pick, they won't need it, I'm hoping we can trade Preuss to them with 47 to get this. Everyone keeps talking compromised draft, there is however a lot of good players that aren't priority access picks, but you want as many picks inside top 30 that you can get. The back half of the draft is a great unknown, I think you will see a lot of Rookie elevations and clubs taking minimal rather than drafting someone new. I can't understand North and other clubs that are culling big numbers, to me they will need to pick up a lot of delisted free agents to top up list, you aren't going to pick 5-7 kids from this draft

Welcome to Demonland: Taj Woewodin
From what I've been told from WA, he goes OK nothing to be excited about at the moment but is bottom age Colts and hard to get a good read as he plays most his footy for his school. Hopefully he is year 12 this year so we can see how he goes at WAFL level next season, if he is any good you would hope he could play a bit of seniors next year.
-
Alex Neal-Bullen
He isn't a forward and can't get a crack at it in our side as a midfielder, that maybe the only reason he is looking at options, more midfield time. I wouldn't expect him to have much value, can't see him leaving, more value to the club that the pick we would receive, unless pick swapping say ANB and pick 47 to Adelaide for pick 30
