I agree You honestly thought it was 50/50...in what universe is that poll 50/50 Your first choice sees us winning the flag this year, your second, third and fourth choice means the respondent is not happy with Bailey. That is the most biased poll I have ever seen on D'land.

It is frustrating I do agree and even more so because I loathe the pies and I hate to see our team losing to them. What I saw today was a bunch strong bodied fast running players romp all over our team, the pies worked harder and dominated our players all over the park. We could not compete with the stronger bodies of the pies Cale Morton is a case in point ,letting cloke climb over the top of mcdonald, he does not have the confidence in his size and strength to contest in a marking contest even attempting to make a body contact with him it was almost like he was afraid to get hurt. Yes he was kicking himself after the contest but thats not good enough. I hope we start bulking up soon or we will be having a long wait on our hands.

Just out of interest what is the record for the most replies to a post on D'land? We are up to 15pages at the mo (even if it is a combined thread) thats got to be close.

CC may have not done the best job as coach but CS certainly did a great job for Freo his record speaks for itself. No matter how the on field form was like CS took a financial basket case of a club and made it profitable in a short period of time.

"Culture of Mediocrity" is a bit harsh. Yes he is experienced but I wonder how much of Pettard's poor performance is due to poor supply into the forward line? With quick and accurate delivery from the centre he is really hard to defend against.

I like the idea of chants for Tom, but would also offer up the idea of having a chant for a few other players as well I reckon they all need our support at this time also. I am writing this message to request we have a discussion about the "elephant in room" Tom Scully and GWS. There has been a surprising lack of discussion around the theories and conjecture about the possibility of him moving to GWS. I for one believe this issue has not been discussed enough and I would urge someone take up the challenge and start the discussion. I myself would love to contribute to the discussion but as I have little knowledge of the subject matter and a limited vocabulary I would prefer to read more about the issue from this forum before I weigh in. P.s I would also like to request any or all information about Twitter and Tweeting as it sounds like something I may enjoy doing.

What I would love to see from our team in the near future is.... 1st, 2nd, 3rd, (and even 4th) efforts at getting the ball to be the standard MO for all players The transition from Attack to a Forward defensive press by our forwards is organised and quick The kick out is so fast oppositions teams don't have the time to set up their zone Our player keep their feet when contesting and are not being bodied off the ball When impeded or infringed upon in a contest players don't stop to appeal for the free kick they keep contesting When a team mate does courageous stuff every one takes the time to show appreciation All players know where they should be when zoning off I maybe venting but I just needed to release some those things that frustrate me when I'm watching the Footy. If even half of my wishlist is filled I would be a happy camper. This my wish list what is yours?

Well apart from the fact that Mitch Robinson is a moron and has the intelligence of a bean, (which BTW is why people confuse him for a hard nut, he is what I would call a pre-Darwin Award recipient he has a great ability to do dangerous and life threatening things for no other reason then it seemed like a good idea at the time or to impress the ladies) he has highlighted the way other players see our team. Whether he is right about the hardness or softness of the players is irrelevant at this point because its out in the public forum now and its up to the players to respond to the criticism leveled at them. The players reaction to this story will be interesting to see. They have 2 options they can take it lying down and remain listless and dispassionate about it all or they can rise up to the challenge laid down. I await Friday night with a touch of nerves and a smattering of giddy excitement to see what their reaction is.

I agree with all of these also who I am excited to see more of was the Sub last night Danny Nicholson. I would love to see him get more time as he came on and got into the thick of its straight away. Did not get daunted or hang off and put his head over the ball. Its amazing what happens when you are fighting to get on to a team, how much more effort and hunger you have.

Well I don't know about you but I reckon the club should give him 15 more games before they make a decision, after all his record this year is 3W 3L 1D it will be interesting to see how it all pans out at seasons end. So until that happens I prefer to support him wholeheartedly until then. Also I think you are giving coaches too much credit, yes they are influential but their influence is limited to what they can control and in the end the players are the ones who can directly influence a game. I also think that the 7 plus year plan is what the club needed at the time he was appointed, he was appointed in 2008 amongst off field drama of debts and CEO resignations and sacking. He is rebuilding the team. When you rebuild a team it takes time for example Geelong at the end of 1999 appoints Mark Thompson as head coach in 2000 they finish 5th on the ladder but get knocked out by Hawthorn in the finals. 2001 they finish 12th, 2002 finish 9th and 2003 finish 12th. During these 3 years they recruit heavily ( Paul Chapman, Gary Ablett, Jr., Jimmy Bartel, James Kelly and Joel Corey) 2004 finish 4th and 2005 finish 6th 2006 finish 10th 2007 - 2009 they reach the GF and win 2 out of 3. We are in year 3 of a rebuild that will take time, whether Bailey is hear to see the end result remains to be seen. Interestingly they say what turned a good side Geelong to be an elite side was not the coach but a disgruntled player Paul Chapman who questioned the culture of the player's accountability for each other as a team, this then was backed up by the coach and led to an honest team assessment of themselves as players. The next week Geelong thrashed Richmond by 157 then went on to to win the next 15 games straight. But from your post I see you have made your mind up on what to do with Bailey I just reckon you maybe pulling the trigger a wee bit early
