  1. Melbourne to scrape into the eight thanks to the drawn game. Roll Fremantle in a thriller at Subiaco, then take revenge on the Dogs before facing St. Kilda in the Preliminary. Watts kicks his 5th to put us up by 3 points with 90 seconds left on the clock. Ball ends up in their attacking 50 in the hands of Bartram, that's all I can see.
  2. Prefer Watts to take a hanger on the HFF and kick one from 65 metres after the siren to win by a point.
  3. You are the child. Even Boss managed a sensible response to this dribble, move along before you embarrass yourself further.
  4. Miller, Someone to GC, Meesen, Newton, Bell, Hughes, Cheney,Mcdonald I would expect all these to be gone at year's end. That's 6 and 2 rookies. Harrington's job just got easier!
  5. If he really had some balls then Brown, Black, Power and Bradshaw could have of been traded for a bevy of first and second round picks in the last uncompromised draft in 3 years. In reality though, which coach would do that? A good run with injuries and they'd be pushing Top 4. As another poster alluded too, sand and water the ground alot before next season.
  6. Club still needs a small defender. Can Maric fulfill that role at this stage of his development? Play him on Lewis Jetta and see what happens. I guess we'll find out before too long. out: Moloney in Maric
  7. I only watched the last quarter but Bate was really good as the Roaming Half Forward. On what I saw he won't be dropped.
  8. It's about development. If the club deems it's good for his development as an AFL player he'll play, possibly this week. You can't tell me Watts "deserved" a game but has it been good for his "development", absolutely.
  9. MELBOURNE Backs Colin Garland Jared Rivers Clint Bartram Half backs Jordie McKenzie James Frawley Cameron Bruce Centreline Jamie Bennell Nathan Jones Brad Green Half forwards Lynden Dunn Jack Watts Tom Scully Forwards Colin Sylvia Matthew Bate Liam Jurrah Followers Mark Jamar Brent Moloney Aaron Davey Interchange (from) Rohan Bail Addam Maric Matthew Warnock Cale Morton In: Rohan Bail Cale Morton Matthew Warnock Adam Maric Out: Jack Trengove (hip), Kyle Cheney Paul Johnson Joel Macdonald Bail deserves a spot more than most, Morton is the future and Subi is big, suiting his long accurate kicking and general floating around. Warnock needs a chance to prove he isn't a one trick pony. Maric, well apparently he's a gun, at least so I thought myself, so let's play him and see what he's made of. As for Cheney, Johnson and Macdonald. Let's face it none are premiership players and that's what we're chasing.

  11. Your thoughts on Morton are much appreciated. He's in the Watts camp in that if he has the drive to push himself both phusically and mentally then he will become a great player in the next 3 to 4 years. It's all up to Cale.
  12. Do what you need to do but he won't be delisted in the next 2 years. Delisting him will give us an extra pick, say in the 50 - 60's. I'm saying that the club will be much keener to persevere with a player that they rate than rolling the dice on a long odd's draft pick.
  13. You placed an 'a' where the word 'few' belongs. Easy mistake to make when you share the same problem.
  14. It's nothing to do with emotion. Wonaeamirri's main problem was a recurring hamstring injury. The club identified an issue with his tackling technique and have rectified it. He should now be able to string some games together, complete a full preseason and be right to go. Being that the club clearly rate him he will be given at least 2 more years to prove his body is capable. Remember they didn't delist Rivers and his injuries were more serious than Wonaeamirri's.
  15. In yesterday's side the likes of Cheney, Bartram, MacDonald, Bruce, Johnson, Dunn, possibly Jones and Rivers will be replaced by the likes of Grimes, Morton, Petterd, hopefully Strauss, Bail, Wonaeamirri, Bennell, Jetta, Blease, Tapscott and hopefully Maric. Hughes will be delisted at year's end. As for Wonaeamirri, there is no way, not a chance that he will be delisted this year or next. It just won't happen.
  16. Cheney - won't make it MacDonald - back to brisbane Watts - just needs weight. Once he can take the hits and also dish them out his confidence will soar and he'll be elite. Nothing to worry about there, move along. Rivers - better than Warnock Garland - Will destroy forwards. Trengove - will be elite Scully - will be elite Morton - bring him back McDonald - miss the skipper Moloney - come along way Grimes - Missed his dash Strauss - need him to make it Johnson - oh my Blease - love his dash Jurrah - will be unstoppable Bennell - will keep improving Maric - Lets hope so Frawley - AA CHB soon Bate - set to explode Petterd - no more injuries Tapscott - Lets hope so Mckenzie - in the best 22 Gysberts - Future best 22 Davey - good but is better Dunn - Million Dollar casey forward Colin - set to explode Green - 3 years at FF Jamar - Hats off to a great man. Jones - intensity good, will need to improve to stay in best 22, I think he will. Jetta - Keep at it 1 of Gawn, Fitzpatrick - needs to step up by 2012-13 McNamara - Can still make it Martin - The Forgotten Man 36,132 members - 2011 Jim Stynes - gets the all clear Debt - Demolished Roost It - Pumped about the Demons, loves the footy, absolutely loves beating Essendon.
  17. Jim Stynes: "So Boss how much are you going to give to help make the club you support strong" Boss: "None, because it will end up in the hands of Dean and Josh" JS: No Boss it will pay off the rest of the debt so we can use the money wasted on debt repayments to further strengthen our club" B: "Which means paying more to Dean and Josh" JS: "No Boss you're not listening. Dean has a contract and will be receiving that money whether we pay off our debt or not, as does Josh. Now what's the real reason you don't want to help build the club, come on Boss, remember I work with troubled kids all the time I might be able to help" B: "No one on Demonland likes me or takes me seriously so I just say stupid things to try and [censored] them off" JS: "But Boss why don't you try engaging them in intelligent conversation and debate and try getting your point across that way" B: "I suppose so Jim" JS: "So how much are you going to give to DD this time around" B: "Probably around $100, but don't tell anyone" JS "I won't Boss, I'll let you do that when you feel like becoming an active and useful member of Demonland"
  18. The AFL has 2 choices. Give us more home games against the high drawing Vic clubs or hand over the cash these clubs make playing each other at our ground. This whole "balance" fund is corporate Bul**hit. If they balance out the draw then we could easily stand on our own 2 feet. They like keeping some clubs poor, it makes "little" men feel powerful. It's the same crap the IMF use to keep poor countries poor and big corporations rich. .....Steps off his soap box and heads off to watch Friday night footy.........
  19. Very surprised that Morton was dropped and is still in the 2's. Jurrah will play Joel MacDonald should play for casey Jounson should play for casey Maric would have to count himself lucky or he's going to prove he's better suited to AFL football. Don't see Cheney as a long term prospect Bail deserves more games I'm a Jetta fan but he needs to do more and I think he will.....eventually The team needs a big game from Col Really hope we put on a performance like the Brisbane game. We need to start stamping our authority over the Bombers for they are ordinary at best. INT: Jurrah, Bail, Cheney, Maric
  20. No you'd have about 22 dollars.
