What I'm offering up here is a simple theory of why Collingwood's win is good for us. No one cares about the GC or GWS franchises and I for one share little interest in winning our next Premiership against either of these souless Corporate Brands. Collingwood like us are young, enthusiastic and only going to get better. In the years to come I would love nothing more than to see a true reemergence of Football's greatest rivalry. Picture Melbourne and Collingwood dominating the next decade.
