  1. Good luck Beamer, maybe a champion midfielder in Vossy will know how to play you. We picked up Shannon [censored] Byrnes!!!!!! We're going places
  2. We need to use Pick 4 on the most athletic of the best remaining mids for quick run & spread. Lewis Jetta carved up the Hawks in the 3rd quarter as Mitchell & Sewell are great within 15 metres of the contest but don't spread well. Viney isn't that quick either,we need a jet. Wines was very impressive on Future Stars a few weeks ago,i'd be happy if we take him.
  3. I go to all the Suns Home games and i wouldn't touch Toy,he's slow and not a great kick.
  4. Viney at any cost.i actually think he is pick 1. Viney is Hodge,Whitfield is Dal Santo.
  5. It's Viney at pick 3,DONE! Only the MFC could [censored] this up. Cale Morton won the Larke Medal and he's been $hitting himself ever since at AFL level. We need Viney at ANY cost to show our peaheart mids (bar Jones) what tough contested footy is.
  6. I'll be happy taking Jack at 3,pick 26 would be better but the Suns genuinely think he's the 2nd best player in the draft,so we get him at 3.and Wines at 4. I'm not sold on Whitfield yet, just looks like another Dal Santo. Hope Jack Viney runs through Morton in preseason
  7. Losing our best defender is just what we need to finish off the worst season of any AFL club in history. And no,Chip the Spud isn't better than Riv,he's had one good season,as for Bartram,Joel Mac,Garland-give me a spell!!!
  8. Great effort after Neeld turned him into an inside mid this year. He's been a star since he came 2nd in the Bluey in his first full season as a 19yo. Should be Captain!
  9. I'm a Dees and Suns member and go to all the Suns home games and the Suns need and will select Grundy at pick 2,they need a ruckman that can go forward and kick goals rather than Martin, who they have a few of that type.Sam Day,Tom Lynch are still very slight and Grundy is ready made. Round 1 will also see the debut of Jaeger O'Meara who will complement Ablett,Bennell,Swallow,Harmichael,Caddy (who will stay) Pick 2 will be Brody Grundy.
  10. With Tippet maybe coming up here to the Gold Coast,Sando may need a replacement and LJ's manager would have talked to both clubs before he quit Melbourne so a deal may have been struck. Liam's family comes first so he has to provide financially and he'd never get a normal job in Adelaide.
  11. Fantastic news,i'm stoked. No court crap on the eve of Round 1,2013. We were so due for some good news for once,WOOHOO!!!!
  12. Viney and the other mids we get this year won't have an impact for 2-3 years. We're giving away a ready made, big bodied clearance mid because we have 18 year olds on the way-sounds like Junior all over again,Scully gone,JT not firing!!! This will come back and bite Neeld on the Ar$e,unless the plan is to spend Green's & Moloney's salary on a big fish in Free Agency. Hmmm, who could it be?
  13. Joel Selwood wouldn't fit Neeld's game plan-tough hard bodied clearance player. Beamer would suit Sydney perfectly-clearing from stoppages to the Swans runners and he'd kick goals from inside the centre square at the SCG.
  14. Probably Port but he used to be best mates with Gazza,so he may play up here.
  15. Old news,if we can't trade him,he'll be dlisted.

    TIRED

We get hammered in the midfield every game because we start one mid short with Jordie in there. The pies start with 3 attacking mids and back themselves and they can because of Swan,Pendles,Beams etc. Today,we start a VFL at best ruckman,Jordie,Jones and Bail. This is the worst midfield in the AFL,including Suns/Giants. Any wonder we lost the clearances 1-7 in the first 15 minutes of the game?
  17. This is devastating news, all this crap will be front/back page of the Hun for weeks leading into round 1.I was hoping this would be dusted by October. Too hard basket, time to move on. Could of been a romantic story but this is business, not fairytale storytime. Delist!
  18. I was hoping for Greeny to go around again next year, especially when we don't know what's going to happen with LJ and Petterd will be offered to the Suns. and Cook not coming on,we have a seriously weak forward line. All the best Brad.
  19. Hardwick has turned over 30 players in 3 years and still hasn't got it right. Neeld hasn't turned over any yet,he needs time at least or do you guys think we have a finals winning list? Since round 12,we are the no. 1 tackling side,at least he's put some defence into our rabble of a list.In the last 5 years, our players had no interest in tackling. When Bailey came in,he bought an offensive Geelong style gameplan with not much defence and in his first season the game changed into an ultra defensive game,ie. Pies/Saints and we were left behind. Neeld comes in with the defensive gameplan of Pies and no offence (yet) and the game has changed into an offensive style of Hawks,Crows and we have been left behind again. Had we kept Bailey, the wheel would have turned 360 and we would've kept our offensive side and added more defence. Neeld has sucked all offensive flair out of Trengove & Beamer and turned them into defensive robots.
  20. Victorian Bushranger Scott is Nick's (Frankston Dolphins) brother and my nephew.Scotty should have a good year this year with a bit more opportunity with James Pattinson playing for Australia. His first 2 wickets last season were the dismissal of WA's Marcus North. at the MCG,we were all there, along with about 60 other onlookers. My other nephew Matt plays for Collingwood VFL.His father/my brother played for the Dees in the early 80's with Chris Connolly and Kelly O Donnell.
  21. Cook is nowhere near AFL ready,he can't dominate VFL defenders yet. He'd get mauled against AFL defenders that would run off him all day and he doesn't have the tank to go with them. He's not a Cameron/Patton that is good enough to play straight away, maybe he'll never be good enough.
  22. I'll be there watching my nephew/god son (Nick Boland) play for Frankston. He'll probably play on Petterd, I hope anyway. His uncle/my brother played for the Dees in the early 80's, so there's a bit of a connection for the family this week. Go Dolphins!
  23. This is rubbish, you blokes should become writers for The Shire!!! Beamer is a required player next year and beyond. Do you think Viney and 2 other 18 year olds will have an influence in the next 3 seasons? Dreaming!!!
