As i said when i started this thread,we have to get Prismall,we desperately need another 2 top line midfielders.Mclean,Jones,Moloney won't take us far enough and Jmac hasn't got long left. I disagree about trading Green,he's having his best season for years and looks to have toughened up a bit and winning more hard ball and backing back into packs.We have to keep a mix of experienced players or else we'll just have an under 22 team.Look at Geelong,they have the perfect blend of: 18-23........Selwood,Mackie,Stokes,Prismall,Lonergan,Hawkins 24-27........Ablett,Bartel,Corey,Wojcinski,Enright,Chapman,Kelly,Ling,Johnson 28+..........Scarlett,Harley,Milburn,Mooney,Ottens You need a blend of experience at the top end while introducing the youth at the bottom end. If we land Natnui,i would chase another midfielder or KPP rather than go after Warnock.We don't need 2 more Ruckmen. Natnui,Prismall and Mckinley would the dream scenario for me.

Prismall played well tonight,22 very clean disposals.It's such a waste seeing this guy running around in the VFL. He'd be a starting midfielder with us every week and half at the MCG,doesn't get much better!!! Lets snag him in the PSD,is he contracted for '09?

Both these players would be great aquisitions for the Dees and they're not getting a game at the Cats. Prismall has been emergency 8 times in 9 games this year,he's in tonight for Selwood,but he wants to play week in week out,not just when someone doesn't come up.Bomber Thompson didn't want to let Moloney go,lets do a straight swap Lonergan would add another target up forward,he can take a grab and kick a goal and he's in tonight for Hawkins.He's been out of the game a long time due to the clash with Brad Miller when he lost a Kidney,so he's fresh and ready to go. It is so ludicrous to say Palmer has no upside!!! Every 18/19 year old in the AFL has enormous upside in their game,to say an 18 year won't get any better is unbelievable. Palmer won't mature and peak until he's 23-26 years of age and when he does,i can't wait to see it,he's a ball magnet and only Ratten and Misiti have averaged more possessions in their first 8 games than Palmer. He's had a better first 8 games than Judd,Kerr,Mitchell,Black,Lappin,Hodge.................... He's much more of a natural athlete/runner with a bigger engine than Morton. Morton will be a good player,Palmer will be a gun. We will see after 100 games.
