Matty Lloyd worked with all those U/18 boys last year and he said last week on 3AW that he would've taken Toumpas at pick 2 after Whitfield and said wait until he gets the speed of the game. I wanted Wines because that's the type we need NOW but Toump will be very good.

Our next coach will be either Roos,Choco or Eade so interview in that order. Clarkson would be my choice but the Dees won't be where the Hawks are today in 5 years so why would he.

The Ox just said they're talking 1.5M for Roos which could financially cripple us even more and I reckon Choco would do it for 6-700k. I've got 100% faith in Action Jackson but he'd want to have a 1M Dollar sponsor over the line.

I've been to most Suns home games this year and last and the difference is stark but they had access to the best 17 and 18yo's in the country and a bloke called Ablett.Out of our game Sunday Bail,Jordie,Rodan,Pedo,Strauss,Fitzy wouldn't get a game with the Suns and that is a 1/4 of our team. If we had Ablett,Jaegar,Prestia,Matera,Swallow we'd have won 4 games this year also. It's all about the midfield.

Regardless of who coaches the rest of the season,we'll win against the GWS only,we won't beat the Suns up here. Just don't think we'll win 4-5 games with a caretaker,won't happen.

If Paul Roos or Bomber Thompson were coaching us today it wouldn't be any different! The most basic stupid mistakes made by Bail,Jordie,RODAN,Joel Mac,Fitzy are because they are NOT AFL standard.Not coach related just dumb decision makers executed with sub standard SKILL.Those 5 should not be playing AFL football. SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

When North interviewed Brad Scott for the job,they asked him whether he could work with Darren Crocker because they said they they didn't want to lose someone like him and Scott said yes,no problems. We do the same and we keep Rawlings,Brown,Craig & Misson and the new coach can bring in his own midfield coach. The right coach that wants to take on the biggest job in football will agree to that and we save big $$$.

If each Demons member put in an extra $30 a year on top of their membership,that would give us an extra $1 Million a year. That's about 60 cents a week.

Great to see Magner back and crunching packs,Neeld will sub him out soon i'm tipping.JT 5 touches. Now the dreaded 3rd quarter.

He's ok offensively but doesn't work hard enough defensively and 25 disposals & 0 tackles says it all. I just hope we haven't picked up another down hill skier

I'm a member of both the Dees and Suns and yesterday was a new low for all of us but i'll be a Dee forever. What pizzes me off the most is that the players just couldn't be bothered,38 friggin tackles,they don't want to play with any desire and desperation.Yes,Neeld has made mistakes but the attitude of the playing group is the no. 1 problem at our club,don't give me this "they're not playing for the coach rubbish" because whoever is coach,you play 100%,that is what you're employed to do and our players don't do it.Half our team yesterday are VFL standard at best.I saw the Dees v Suns game at Southport 2 months ago and the Suns played 100% effort and the Dees didn't give a stuff,it was our last hitout before round 1 against Port and I said to a mate,Port will pump us by 10 Goals,they pumped us by 13 goals. Ablett,Selwood,Swan,Cothchin,Mitchell,Hodge don't need a coach to get them up,they are 100% self motivated before the first bounce,so I don't buy the "coach get get them up" rubbish,elite sports people get themselves up,no one else needs to motivate them. Trengove,Grimes,Jamar,Clark,Watts,Toumpas,Hogan,maybe Blease & Tmac,Pick 2 & priority pick? (even Magner would be best 22 right now) will all be best 22 in 2014 that didn't play yesterday,so there is light at the end... We had games where played like this under Daniher,Bailey,now Neeld and it will happen under the next coach,i guarantee it,different Demons teams but same culture.

The Suns were 18th for Contested Poss. last year and this year they're 4th and they have a better midfield and they average more tackles than us this year. It adds up.
