Not too shabby

All our players got sucked to defensive side during centre bounces, meaning their sweeper just ate us up. Very poor structurally, brought on by a change in mindset. We [censored] our pants, basically.

This happens a lot to us against more experienced, harder bodies, we fall away towards the end of quarters. Dissapointing.

Remember watching him in a practice game at Visy Park in his first pre-season (coincidentally the day Mitch Clark kicked five against us playing for Brissy). Was clearly something special even then. Just an outstanding mark even at that early age.

They are bigger because they have all had three times as many pre-seasons in the gym.

Watts was the sub a few years ago against bears I think it was. He came on and lit it up and then played well again the following week.

I think he'd do alright on Tippett, and hopefully would be able to run off him a bit if he's smart. Tippet is slow as sh7t.

It wasn't weak at all. He realised he was up against two players and would be better placed using their momentum against them and bringing the ball to ground. Don't believe everything you hear on Fox Footy telecasts and make up your own bloody mind. Seriously, the ridiculous Watts bashing makes me pretty disgusted to be a melbourne supporter. So he's not the hardest player going around, so what. He's doing his best and he is improving year on year. Almost every time we win the inside 50s, Watts plays well. Why? Because he gets OPPORTUNITIES to play well. It's pretty hard imposing yourself on a game as a forward when the ball's in the back pocket the whole time, which, let's be honest, it has been a lot during his time at the club. Loved Wayne Carey backing him up in the media this week. Yes we all know he has faults, so does every other player on our list. They don't get theirs highlighted in the paper every second week though, otherwise they probably would have retired.

Well it was pissing down with rain most of the time. Did you expect one of them to kick ten? Having said that, I agree we are too tall atm, the only week we haven't been of the last 26 rounds was versus GC, and that turned out all right. Hopefully frost for michie is all that changes this week. Dawes for Pedo I'm fine with too. Dawes is a great guy, good team player, but he's pretty crap at football and I'd prefer someone who is half decent.
